A-10 standings show Dayton at 13-4. They had a game with VCU cancelled which accounts for them having one less conference game than the Bills. On Saturday, I saw on the A-10 site Dayton with 13 wins so figured Sunday’s game was for the tie. Turns out the Dayton page shows them at 12-5 so the A-10 site is wrong.

Toppin is/was the better athlete. Holmes runs like he has a stick up his ass. His percentages down low are the result of no resistance in the A10. When faced with some physicality, he was a lesser player. His three-point shooting was mostly from straight on and only when left completely uncovered and designed to tell the pros 'yeah I got more to my game, I'm draftable, pick me, pick me.' I expect him to get snuffed in the NBA if he even makes it. Time will tell which of us is right.

As the Bills player acquisition situation has cooled a bit in recent days , I thought I would ask the computer who it liked. In other words, ...Who is available that would best fit The Bills/ Schertz system? Answer ...Chaz Lanier SG from N Fla...6'4...175.....has played 4 years there( 1 yr remaining)...current teams that are reported to have interest ...KY , Tenn , BYU. This guy is a Majerus type player (180+ slash) checking in at 183..... 51/ 60.3/ 44/ 88 = A+ / A+/ A+ (66 ITN) / A+ (53rd ITN) = FG/ 2P / 3P/ FT plus 4.8 rpg. He would be a good get....The point is there are still plenty of good players available at this time.

Walsh and Collins to a slightly lesser extent have a great relationship with the new staff and want to play for them. I expect if/when offers are made that commitments from both will be made immediately after.

6'11 All American who makes 50% of shots from catch and shoot & shoots 38% from 3. Yeah he sucks. Obi was drafted into an awful situation in NY and injuries have hurt him. He and Holmes are completely different players. I expect Holmes to be a solid big man in the NBA for years to come.

@slu72: I'll do my best but will refrain from anything until the rosters have been set. Hoosier give a nice composite above and the bottom line will be how quickly a team builds chemistry and how they compete in their OOC schedule. A10 teams have a tendency to play absolutely no one (not their fault) and compile gaudy OOC records. Some teams will now use this time to find the rotation ---- much like Duquesne did last year. It's not the same anymore, just like it was different for Ford dealing with the portal and NIL.

It looks like basically the whole coaching staff, including Schertz, is following Walsh on Twitter. I would assume that means there’s some serious interest there from the staff.

Well I was a Ford supporter who got on the dump Ford train late. One thing I disliked about Ford was his apparent dislike for playing 2 Bigs at the same time. I think that ends with Schertz. I see a lineup of Avila, Swope, Jimerson, Casey or Anya, & Dotzler/Hughes/or PG or CG still to be signed. And would love to see Swope and Jimerson pushed hard this Summer by players hungry for playing time. Needless to say, looks like this team will have a very solid, competitive and sizable rotation this season. Summer workouts should be viciously competitive.
