slufan13
The BioSteel All-Canadian Basketball Game is tonight and Billiken signee, Matt Neufeld, will be playing. Hopefully someone can watch and report to us. Only an all-star game, but we haven't seen much of any of our signees this year. Here's the story. http://www.tsn.ca/teams-announced-for-tsn-s-biosteel-all-canadian-basketball-game-1.255787 TSN’s BioSteel All-Canadian Basketball Game is set to tip off Tuesday at Toronto’s Mattamy Athletic Centre, and organizers today announced the final rosters for Team Red and Team White. As announced earlier this month, the game is a new showcase event spotlighting the next generation of Canadian basketball stars, including Thon Maker, Jamal Murray, and more. The roster for the BioSteel All-Canadian Basketball Game features the Top 24 high school basketball players from across the country. Vaughan, Ont.’s Kalif Young, a 6’9” junior who plays for the Athlete Institute, joins the roster of Team Red as the replacement for Milton, Ont.’s Kyle Alexander. The athletes were chosen by an 11-person selection committee, led by Tony McIntyre, the BioSteel All-Canadian Basketball Game Operations Director and Selection Committee Chairman. The committee is comprised of a cross-section of Canadian basketball stakeholders, including provincial/territorial representatives, clubs, coaches, and scouts from across the country. Also announced today were the celebrity coaches taking part in tomorrow night’s game. Bill Wennington, a three-time NBA champion and Chicago Bulls colour commentator, joins the coaching staff of Team White. Rowan Barrett, captain of Team Canada at the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games and current Assistant GM/Executive VP of Canada Basketball’s Senior Men’s Program, joins the coaching staff of Team Red. As well, organizers announced that the BioSteel All-Canadian Basketball Game halftime show will be headlined by Canadian music legends Choclair and Jully Black. billikenbill
Anybody know how he did? No game stories mention him and he's not seen in some highlight videos TSN has on their site. Haven't been able to locate a box score to this point.

Old guy
The Biosteel game site is interesting. This is their first game ever to "celebrate Canadian basketball" (the quote is how they describe their purpose). The site apparently intends to post pictures, videos, and press releases of the game. Although these spots only contain the "coming soon" legend in them, it is probably a safe assumption that they will have pictures, videos and press releases of the game available at the site in the near future. I would suggest checking the site (I googled it) to see if they have posted anything every other day or so.
Box and Won
Fun fact: Matt Neufeld is actually a cyborg/werewolf hybrid developed by the BioSteelTM Corporation. He's 20% werewolf, 80% semi-organic BioSteelTM, 100% heart. The BioSteelTM Corporation been hiding him in Canada all these years so as to avoid unwanted attention, with the hopes that he would slip into the DI ranks relatively unnoticed and then eventually move on to the NBA. My sources at BioSteelTM tell me that their plans have been executed to perfection thus far. As a pro, he will be an excellent spokesman for BioSteelTM. Unfortunately, however, my sources were not able to provide me with his stats from the all-star game.

BioSteel needs better planning and logistics people.
Tonka
Neufeld played 15 minutes - scored 4 points and had 3 rebounds. He was 2-5 from the floor.
Clock_Tower
Neufeld played 15 minutes - scored 4 points and had 3 rebounds. He was 2-5 from the floor. Not the most impressive stats I've ever seen; however, there is often not alot of passing in all-star games and unless the center is the best player on the team, the guards do tend to dominate the play. Basketbill
From what I have read this is the first all star game, the MVP was on neufeld's team he had 29 12-22. Not sure how many assists if any...... He is a 2016 recruit with Duke looking to him. The had to have 4 players from 2015, 2016 and 2017, as well as some 2018 players. Most of the players were from the Toronto area. Thon Maker (so?) was on the other team was a five star recruit for Indiana had 6 puts 2-12....... Just some perspective.... Was previously the 2016 #1 above Tatum and Giles before he moved out of the U.S. and reclassified. There's a lot of speculation that he'll go overseas or play postgrad for his current school. 3star_recruit
Jamal Murray, the kid with the insane stat line, is supposed to be the next big thing to come out of Canada. He's a surgical 6'4 scorer who can also also drive and dish. Steve Nash said today that the kid would get drafted right now, if that was allowed.
