RUBillsFan
http://www.foxsportsmidwest.com/collegebasketball/saint-louis-billikens NEXT MAN UP? Does the Billikens' apparent lack of depth scare you? A. Yes - The guards are aggressive, and the new hand-check rule could be a challenge. B. Yes - Outside of the starting five + Barnett, who knows what you will get. C. No - The seniors will be on the floor the majority of the time anyway. D. No - I think the freshman will step up as the season rolls along.
gobillsgo
I guess I'm missing this "apparent lack of depth"....?
JettFlight5
Because one game against SEMO exposed the non-existent depth issues...
HoyaBilliken
One game in which team started slowly doesn't show a lack of depth in my opinion.
RiseOfTheBillikens
I personally believe that a lot depends on AM and his ability to help JJ & MM handle the guard rotation. If he is not up to par with the other two than we may be in trouble. Especially against Shaka's press the tools call Havoc

Bizziken
I think we are fine in the frontcourt, especially with Evans's rebounding ability, but the backcourt depth worries me a little. I know it has only been 1 game, however, Kwam left some pretty big shoes to fill. I don't think it's premature to be at least a little concerned about our 3rd and 4th guards...if only due to a lack of information at this point. RUBillsFan
I think the "apparent lack of depth" is really just a way of saying that no one outside of the starting 5 + Barnett has had much playing time as a Billiken.

Quality Is Job 1
I refuse to respond to or look at the results of that poll, because the premise has no basis in reality. SLU is probably one of the deepest teams in the country this year.

Littlebill
I think our first five off the bench would finish in the top 10 in the league.

Billikenboy
Senior leadership for sure and let the gamed underclassmen battle it out to get time. I really feel this is a deep lineup and the rotation will ultimately be like a 9 to 10 man rotation at most as more games are played. I see the freshman doing their part but burden will be on the seniors predominantly. Not worried just optimistic.
hsmith19
McCall Jett Evans Glaze Loe McBroom Barnett Manning Crawford/Agbeko/Lancona ...How could it NOT be a 9 or 10 man rotation? I don't see the "depth" issues at all. If our biggest problem is McBroom as the third guard, then we're in pretty good shape.
Billiken Rich
I'd hate to play VCU if we somehow lost McCall or Jett or even McBroom.
doowop
VCU will be tougher to beat this year than last year. We may not jell until the start of conference play unless our front court gets tougher on the boards and our three point shots start falling. slu72
KM was a key to beating VCU last year. MM and JJ can handle havoc, not so sure about AM yet.

Starting to think it's not a coincidence people get pissed after you start spouting after every loss, not sure what else to tell you man. I think we all see the depth concerns pretty clearly.
