Thanks for the breakdown, I'm a scientist.  @SluSignGuy and I discussed last weekend that's we're in the hardest science, political science. So follow me for more science facts.

I'm not sure I understand the animosity sense I get from the billiken.com mbm's for Schertz wanting to finish his season.  
My gosh, any man of character would have made it clear from the first communication about the billiken opening that he wanted to finish his season with the sycamores.
He owes it to Indiana State, the fans and mainly his team to see the season to the end.  Personally, I like Schertz even more for taking this stance.  I am rooting for all the success he can accomplish.    

@Pistol might need to actually do his job to keep getting paid, or Mrs @Pistol will not be happy….

People who genuinely find this board late in their fandom or as they progress into adulthood is a great thing. We should all welcome new posters with open arms. I have said this 100 times: when you find this board, create a user name and then just lurk for a season or post inconsequential sh*t for awhile. Learn the norms, inside jokes, etc. If you show up one day and start going at long time posters or making big statements you're just going to get run off. Sucks, but that's every forum.

Lost in the Goodwin rebounding greatness is the fact that he was never boxed out.  Why?  Because he was covering a point guard or shooting guard who basically chucked and ducked back on defense.  This is not the same as French battling down low with a similarly sized opponent, both searching for the same thing.  Having a guard rebound is great but it also denies him from being the outlet pass receiver to initiate any fast break --- which we had very few of over the course of his tenure.  Different animal.  You never saw Goodwin throw a full court bounce pass ala Collins to Jimerson.  Just not his style.  Not a knock, but a reality.

This made me giggle. I've struggled with it my whole life!

While the Champions Center will be a very nice add-on for the basketball team, it will be a significant boost to the non-basketball programs. The baseball team will now have something to sell when kids come to campus.

i agree it sucks for us the fans, but actually considering our travel disadvantages it is likely a nice respite for the players.   so i got mixed feelings.  would love to have the travel opportunity which i wont take during midweek till retired (January 10 2025 cant come soon enough) but on the other hand our underdog team needs all the breaks it can get this coming season it appears to me.

I'm glad it's actually about a subject I'm interested in, too. Most of my neighbors are professors and I usually just smile politely when they talk about their books.
