moytoy12 Posted March 8, 2020 Posted March 8, 2020 Alabama should def be out now after losing to Missouri. Quote
BillIkenFan_Dan Posted March 8, 2020 Posted March 8, 2020 Can’t get them all. Very happy with all the bubble teams losing today. Quote

majerus mojo Posted March 8, 2020 Posted March 8, 2020 3 with 2.5 secs left to go up 59-56 on SDSU Quote
RiseAndGrind Posted March 8, 2020 Posted March 8, 2020 Overall a good day for SLU if they keep winning Quote
glazedandconfused Posted March 8, 2020 Posted March 8, 2020 Atleast it’s another mid-major bid. Dayton with a shot at 1 seed now...atleast until we beat them on Saturday Quote
JettFlight5 Posted March 8, 2020 Posted March 8, 2020 Utah State W...a lot of good results besides that. URI blowing UMass’s doors off in Amherst. Quote
BillsBeliever!!! Posted March 8, 2020 Author Posted March 8, 2020 Most years I’d love to see Utah State win that game. Would be sweet to have a guy like Merrill shooting 42% from three. Might be Perkins and can be Jimerson next year Quote
glazedandconfused Posted March 8, 2020 Posted March 8, 2020 Tre Mitchell with 17 in first half and langevine already has 3 fouls. Quote
JettFlight5 Posted March 8, 2020 Posted March 8, 2020 X goes down to Butler at home. They should be long gone from the bubble...as well as Marquette. who got punked by St. John's. South Carolina loses to Vanderbilt (which should be an automatic dismissal to the CBI). Quote
SLUperman Posted March 8, 2020 Posted March 8, 2020 Overall great day for our at large chances minus freakin Utah St. Let's get redemption on Dayton--I want a game where French doesn't get BS fouls and can go full bore at Toppin. This is a hungry team--let's effing go! Quote
Bay Area Billiken Posted March 8, 2020 Posted March 8, 2020 SLU's RPI, the old rating no longer used, is 38 after the win over St. Bona. An RPI of 38, generally with some isolated exceptions, used to be IN. As is, we are stuck with this diabolical Power 5 + 1 skewed NET. Quote
BillsBeliever!!! Posted March 8, 2020 Author Posted March 8, 2020 Gonna be angry when we go 24-9 with a win over Dayton and don’t make the tourney while a 18-13 (8-10)(0-1) Marquette team does Quote

Meanwhile, Xavier is in the Big East PIG at 8-10 in the league. And it is ordained on high that both of these pretenders are IN the NCAA Tournament. Any team that can't play at least .500 ball in its conference should not be in the NCAA Tournament, period. Quote
glazedandconfused Posted March 8, 2020 Posted March 8, 2020 Up to 49 in the NET which SHOULD be squarely on the bubble Quote
billikenbill Posted March 8, 2020 Posted March 8, 2020 We’re up to 68 in Sagarin which is quite an improvement from the 103 or so we dipped to following the UMass debacle. It’s pretty clear we would be squarely on the bubble had Crutcher missed. Even with that loss, would we be just as squarely on the bubble if we take care of business at UMass? Quote
