Quality Is Job 1
For someone who just got out of class, could they summarize how a star was born? Miles Reynolds took over after being fouled flagrantly by Whittaker and finished with 19 points -- 14 of 18 from the line.

Zink
Miles had 19 and single-handedly brought us back when we were down 10 with 9 mins to go.Dominated both sides of the ball. That kid's got cojones. Was hoping he'd whip out the Sam Cassell. Damn. He redeemed a terrible team performance.

STL Hoops Insider
If he keeps playing like that you might be able to slide Austin and Ash to the 2 and 3 with Roby coming off the bench at his natural position. almaman
that steal and layup with that guy all over him was smooth. can't see how he can sit until he shows it was a fluke but i don't see that happening. next year's recruits must be drooling after seeing that pass to JM. feeding the best HS and now (they say) best college player for 4 years sharpened him. Has anyone heard how the other high recruit from that HS team is doing? maybe went Ohoi St?
JMM28
Paul White has contributed early on at Georgetown. That Whitney Young team was good.
DeSmetBilliken
For someone who just got out of class, could they summarize how a star was born? In addition to what others have posted about Miles' performance, with the 19 points and driving the team from an absolutely atrocious performance to a win, he did this all with a bandage above his eye. The bandage was a result of the uncalled shot to the head he took in the first half. He also sat out the last few minutes of the first half due to the injury. DeSmetBilliken
Didn't he debut that look in state game last year? I think that was in the games leading up to either the state or Chicago Public High League title games. Also, I think that bandage was larger than the one tonight. almaman
Miles tweets he got 5 stitches he ran into the other basket too! The way he played was what I thought a bunch of guys would do after Wiz overview of opponent. When it was 18-10 looked like might happen, but boy did they stink from then to the MR takeover.
