The last thing I need is alcohol as I work strenuously to assist the officiating staff. Now, after the game, a 1998 Bordeaux. preferably a Pomeral or St. Emillion or perhaps a 2005 or 2007 Cabernet, preferably Spring Mountain or Howell Mountain really tops off a nice victory. And for a defeat, rare as they may have become, well, nothing beats a MD 20/20...

Box and Won
Don't leave us hanging... A-Bomb was messing with the KU team bus and its portly driver threatened to arrest him. We were able to evade the bus driver with minimal effort, as he appeared to get winded after taking a few steps. Fortunately A-Bomb left his knife in my car, so there were no further altercations. Bobby Metzinger
We're also forgetting the pre-game happy hours, which have the ability to get out of hand pretty quickly. One thing that needs to be clarified is the size of the beers. Dirty had 7, 24 oz beers during one game. 14 12 oz'ers is solid work for a 2 hour ballgame. I'm sure there are some alcoholics that have put down more (West Pine Jim), but for someone that runs marathons, that's an impressive number. I realize your numbers are based on averages, but I'd like to know the record for most consumed during one game.
Pistol
Funny you chose West Virginia, Box. I'm driving three hours east to Athens, Ohio for a beer release tomorrow morning. Not quite WV, but still Appalachia. WV beers would be tough to drink during a SLU game - only eight commercial breweries in the state currently, and none of them bottle anything. I guess I could make a trip and bring back some growlers. But it is true that about eight people know about each of them.

From my seat, he was a show by himself trying to counsel the blue crew from above in the sig ep section. Always with a full cup of refreshment in hand. It would make me pine for good ole days in college.

It would make me pine for good ole days in college. Im sure there were some records set in those days... In fairness to today's undergrads, the basketball during my years was far less watchable than currently. Therefore, if I were a current student I would like have more interest in the game than drowning my sorrows. That being said, the Roadrunner beer man still knows where my seats are.
