jbizzle09
I am leaving for Vegas tomorrow morning. I will be getting married this Saturday. Looks like someone is finally going to (try to) make an honest man out of me yet. Anyway, just wanted you all to know so you don't have to wonder why a 24/7 weirdo obsessive stalker like myself isn't on the board for about a week. But, mostly, I'm just fishing for the obligatory 'Congrats!' and 'Way to go!' from you guys. Also, since I will be in Vegas, perhaps someone can give this greenhorn some sports betting tips prior to my leaving.

Randy
sports betting tip #1 Don't blow your load all at once.
sonoma bob
Best tip, don't bet, you will lose eventually. Do head downtown for the Fremont Street night-time scene, besides the Strip.

We are actually staying on Fremont Street instead of the Strip. We will be staying at the Four Queens. Anyone been there before? I do believe they have a sportsbook, at the very least. I saw that the odds of SLU winning the tourney was recently 75-1. Feel free to put $10 down for the Billiken board. Half of the winnings can go to you and the other half to a billikens.com party at Humphreys.

I do believe they have a sportsbook, at the very least. Haven't stayed at the Four Queens but the best thing about Freemont is the $5 Blackjack at The Las Vegas Club the and girls of Glitter Gulch. None of the sportsbooks on Freemont are all that impressive although the Golden Nugget has come a long way in recent years and is actually a damn nice place with a phenomenal chop house (Vic & Anthony's I think?) You definitely need to make a pilgrimage up to the strip to check out the books atCaesar’s, Mandalay Bay and Bally's. IMO those are the best on the strip. West Pine Jim
I don't gamble except on consuming the hotdogs at the Shell station on Grand, but congrats on the upcoming nuptuals !

sonoma bob
We were there last year and caught the Rebels upset of then #1 UNC. The rodeo came to town and Fremont St. was like Mardi Gras. Way less expensive downtown for everything. The places on the Strip are all over the top spectacular, lots of fancy casinos, sports books, etc. I guess it all depends how high a roller you are. The new places on the strip all have great ventilation systems, you can't even tell every is smoking. Best Wishes on the wedding, the Billikens are 15 point favorites tonight. Tough bet. slubilliken09
Congrats! If you play blackjack, I found the tables in the Palazzo and Bellagio to be GREAT, as people who play there actually know what they are doing.

BilliKat
Grats! Have a wonderful time! My only advice is to avoid the slots. Worst odds, but very sparkley for the ADD. Roulette is fun if you're fiance isn't much of a gambler.
HusakAttack
Got big payouts two weeks ago from the Wheel of Fortune Machine in Paris Paris and Monopoly machines in The Mirage. Both might be ready for another big payout by then. There are tons of escorts out there too but you gotta know what you want to have a good time with em. someoneelse
The odds are only slightly in the house's favor. You should get a winning streak in there some time to put you ahead. Then quit. That is the hardest part. Congratulations on the wedding. As for the marriage. . ., eh, like I know anything.
jimbofive
There are tons of escorts out there too but you gotta know what you want to have a good time with em. 1. Orgasm 2. Sleep 3. Food 4. Repeat Step 1 This is not rocket science.
Taj79
The free show at the Rio is supposedly good; they were on hiatus when I was there last. The fountains at Bellagio are cool. Just walking through the opulence that is Caesar's is worth it. Pickpockets biggest threat. Never been to the Fremont side. Thought Luxor and Paris and Excalibut were all too gaudy. Like Mandalay Bay and New York, New York. I bet the Bills giving like 18 to Duquesne in January. Paid $18 and change on a $20 bet. I think 15 to Richmond is good given how the Bills seem to roll at home. Coming off the Philly sweep would make me expect a letdown a little -- not a loss, just not a cover. Sports book? Only come up for air, married boy!
HusakAttack
1. Orgasm 2. Sleep 3. Food 4. Repeat Step 1 This is not rocket science. You've got that part down, but the details of steps 1 & 4 above are the key.
