Our Billikens will make a run to at least the semifinals of the A10 Tournament.

The Bills have turned the corner. Are they a great team? No. But they're playing for the postseason in my opinion. They clearly haven't given up yet.

I'll be the first to pull this up if they don't make it. Whatever if I'm wrong. I just have a feeling.

"We want to finish strong," freshman guard Miles Reynolds said. "Win as much as possible and make a run in Brooklyn (at the conference tournament). It's been a long season, but the postseason is the most important part of the year. You see it so many times that teams toward the bottom make a push and might end up winning the conference tournament. So you never know.

"We're going to play hard, continue to play our hearts out and try to get some wins."

I'd like to see one more game like La Salle before I jump on this bandwagon. With how pathetic their defense was at Chaifetz (could you even call what they played a "zone," exactly?), we should be able to beat Duquesne on Wednesday if we play like we did Saturday again. A conference road win would be another good moral victory.

The chances would improve if SLU could avoid having to play Wednesday in the A10 Tournament. Although very unlikely, that is not yet impossible. But St. Joe's still holds a 2 game lead over SLU, with SLU holding the tiebreaker.

Even this SLU team has shown it can play with any team in the league if it brings its A game.

Duquesne looked a lot better Saturday vs. Dayton than it did against SLU. Playing at Duquesne will be a good test for SLU to see if this young team can parlay a good effort into another one. SLU has not won on a road game since Indiana State.

Haha, I am not on the bandwagon either...but I will say when they flashed the road to the A10 semis, it didnt seem to be impossible.

I think it was something like:

Richmond, GW, Dayton...

Talking glass half-full now, I feel like this team has a better chance to catch fire than one of the Ross Varner teams that Uncle Brad put together.

I like that you used Ross Varner to personify that era.

Hey who drank all the koolaid?

Better question would be, what was it spiked with, fairy dust or crystal meth? I can see them winning the first game against one of the other bottom feeders, but the semis? Then again, we did have the Miracle in Memphis. Got to like the optimism, though.

SLU72 - who are you scared of though? If we beat the bottom feeder, we wouldnt be more than 6.5 point dogs to GW on a neutral court. Then Dayton going 6 deep after securing a bid....you think they wouldnt want to relax and just accept their 10 seed and give their legs 2 games break. haha. Then all we need to do is beat VCU who will probably get upset by Bonny again. Are you saying we cant beat the terrible Bonnies in the final?!?!

An argument can be made for everything...

We always have trouble with the Brown Indians. See last year's first tourney game. The fouckers seem to have our number. They see blue and white and go off like a howitzer. Let's see how we do against them at the Fetz. I'm not so sure UD's gonna get a bid if they lose to us. They wouldn't be relaxing. Although, I like the matchups against the Flyers. Not so much against GW, they do have some bigs. Not scared of anyone, but neither am I convinced an OT win against LaSalle on our home court suddenly put us on warp speed and a direct path to be the A10 champs in Brooklyn. Be great if it happened, but I wouldn't be betting my first born, the farm, or the bank on it happening.

I'm assuming those are Eastern time zone starting times?
