Should have stole one. However, this team CAN compete in this league. If Crews gets his head out of his behind and the boys continue to improve they are capable of an A10 tourney miracle run. This league is down. But Crews still may not be the answer Crews had them ready. My only gripe was why did we only have one guy at the line to rebound on Yarborough's 2nd free throw? Was that a player's error or did Crews want them to line up that way? If he misses the second don't you have to go all out for the rebound and if you don't get it immediately foul? Or the real issue was going to fast at the other end. You give up a terrible wide open 3 then you shoot a 3 on the other end when you only need 2. That was the plan after a time out? Never leave time You don't foul in a tie game with 7 seconds left. You play defense. Not playing defense in the last 7 seconds doesnt fall on Crews. Sure he could have called a time out and gone over defense, but im pretty sure that he had already gave everyone their assignments, they just didnt get it done. Not Crews fault. One thing I didnt understand is why he didnt bring in another rebounder for Ash's second free throw, down 1 with 7 seconds left. That made no sense to me. Ash absolutely can't get beat like that and I would've called a timeout to get everything set up, but it was also just a good, aggressive play by Graham. Have you even given one second of thought to the coaching job done by JC, both in pre-game preparation and entire game coaching which got us to the point we were at in the final minute? Going over what to do if he misses - "foul." He was going over what would happen when AY makes it. The veteran players didn't execute. That said, I have to give credit to McBroom last night. He was really good. The offense is still probably better with Bartley but McBroom handled the press like a true veteran.
