OkieBilliken Posted March 12 Author Posted March 12 SLU getting smoked at home by SEMO 8-1. Conference season starts this weekend at home. Mandatory that they get off to a good start this weekend vs St. Joe's who are 5-10 and not picked to contend this season Quote

OkieBilliken Posted Saturday at 04:12 PM Author Posted Saturday at 04:12 PM Good day yesterday for baseball. Beating Dayton was good. Richmond who was 19-2 and 3-0 in conference lost to St Joe’s, the team SLU played last weekend. At least a split in the DH today would be nice. Quote

Sweep would have been nice but St. Joseph’s beat Richmond again. Richmond is the heavy favorite to win the conference but now have at least two losses to the team a team we won our series with. Four teams in conference are 4-1, but the only one I think has a chance of winning it all is Mason. The most shocking conference result so far is perennial contender VCU is 4-18 and 0-5 in conference play. Dayton and VCU lost head coaches last year and had massive roster churn. Quote
