Seems silly to be taking vacations at a time like this,so I’m not sure that’s it. In one of the pics, he’s in a nice hotel room or apartment that is overlooking Staples Center.

It’s cheap as hell to book a getaway right now. As long as you don’t want to really get out and do a ton of sh!t

Some interesting news, pending NBAPA approval. Players who previously entered NBA draft process but withdrew names will have chance to re-enter name. New deadline reportedly will be August 3rd to decide on school return. Not sure if it will affect A10 guys at all.

Ex SLU target, and now Ex Bonnie, Robert Carpenter is headed to Pearl River CC, JUCO.  Raise your hand if you were one of those who were hoping Carp signed as a Bill.

According to Verbal Commits 252 transfers are still on the market, of the 980 listed.

I raise my hand HP and I contacted brown Indian and congratulated the Bonnies for getting him.

He is a young guy that can still turn out to be a good player.

As of today, the main list on Page 1 of this thread is current and up-to-date.  It includes Chase Johnson's return to Dayton but is still incomplete due to the unresolved draft status of Crutcher and Daly.  It alsohas the unanswered question of what happens to KiShawn Pritchett at Davidson.  In all, 51 A10 players either transferred, left team, ordeclared for the draft.  With 13 scholarships per team, that's a percentage rate of about 28% for the A10 in 2020.

Eleven players declared for early entry to the NBA.  All are expected back with the exception of Obi Toppin although no final decisions have been made by Jalen Crutcher of Ryan Daly.  Personally, I don't see either getting drafted.

Not grumpy --- would just love to see what the rationale is/was.

Hodge average 7.7 in 18 game for UL=Monroe.  He's from O'Fallon, Illinois and going to James Madison. Mensah averaged 1.9 in 21 games for San Diego State.  He's from Ghana and also going to Harrisonburg, VA.  Morse averaged 10.8 in 30 games for the Mount.  He's from DC and all three will be sophomores.  Steere played in six games for St. John's and is downsizing down the coast to UNC - Wilmington.  At least he is from North Carolina.  Sturdivant played in 21 games for USC and scored 2 ppg.  He is from Georgia.

Like I said, just would love to see the rationale.

Daly coming back was kind of a no-brainer.  The Joeys still have only one point guard on the roster, Gonzaga transfer Greg Foster.  They also added Dahmir Bishop, a SG transfer from Xavier so the pedigrees are nice.  This will likely move Daly to the three spot on the starting roster but as long as its Longpre and Funk on the front line, there is no real size or inside presence.

The only unknowns at this point are does Jalen Crutcher (Dayton) stay in the draft and does KiShawn Pritchett (Davidson) get a sixth year. Right now Pritchett is not om the roster.

St. Joe's returns everyone from a 6 and 26 team with the exception of SF Lorenzo Edwards (College of Charleston).  And they get the aforementioned Taylor Funk back from a redshirt year plus add transfers Foster (Gonzaga) and Bishop (Xavier) as well as Jack Forrest (Columbia).  But there is nothing of note on the frontline as outside of Funk, they have Canadien Euro-big Anthony Longpre and 6'11" 230 redshirt freshman Anton Jansson.

Given all that, the Joeys seemed destined to play a five-out offense and depend on Daly and compnay to beat you on mismatches with drive-and-dishes the main staple.  Even Myles Douglas is more of a spot-up shooter than any interior banger.  Smallest guy, however, will be 6'3".

in the mid 90's  with marcus camby, lou roe, edgar padilla, donte bright, dana dingle, and carmelo travieso was an awesome team.   of course they were coached by scum calipari and ended up having to forfeit their final four season for cheating.   big surprise.   too bad they didnt have some hotshot lexington ky money behind them to get past that.

Dr. J went there for three years. While there he was paired with Al Skinner, who played in the ABA and also coached URI and Boston College. They have a better basketball history over the past 70 years than all but about 20 non-Power conference schools.
