BLIKNS
With the top 10 list going, got me to wonder this....the hard part might be the heights. Know Pee Wee Leonard and Dwanye Polk were under 6 feet. I don`t know the heights of players from the 50`s 60`s etc. How tall was Luther Burden? Jim Roder? Charles Newberry? Any nominees?

Kwamain Mitchell McCall is listed at 6 feet, but I think that is probably generous. McBroom is under 6 feet.
kshoe
I thought this was going to be a thread about top Billikens that are currently 6 feet under the ground.
willie
Jimmie Irving ??

slu72
Jimmie Irving ?? I had some classes with Jimmy. Pretty sure he was 6'1 or taller. Of course everything looked bigger back then.
BACKHANDtheRICAN
Terrible Thread. Annoying.
willie
How about Billikens over 7 feet.
Billiken Rich
How about great Billikens who wouldn't have been Billikens if they had been 2"-5" taller
slu72
Hey, it's the off season. There's limited recruiting noise, nothing about the schedule, no reports on who's on campus, and, thankfully, no one's name in the newspapers.
RUBillsFan
How about Billikens over 7 feet. Bryce Husak is about the only one I can think of off the top of my head. He obviously wouldn't be considered "great". Quite a few recent near misses with Willie Reed, Rob Loe, and John Manning.
billslasttermdropout
I think Austin McBroom could be the best 5 foot player we ever had. Go Bills! Way to be!
thetorch
Under 6 feet Billikens Newberry, Roder, Irving, Burden were all over 6 feet. Burden was listed at 6'2 the rest were all listed at 6'1. I'm sure there are several old timers. Kwamain and Pee Wee are the class of the group. Then LaTodd Johnson, Carlos Martinez and Polk. There are several flameouts and walkons. Orlando Stewart, Jeremy Biles, Pulley, Carl Turner, Anthony Jones, Marcus Jones, Kevin Grawer. Best walkons under 6 feet are probably Eckerle and Hunt. I might be wrong but there might just be 4 or 5 Billikens 7 footers. Big Rich was at times listed at 7 foot, others at 6'11. Robin Jones same thing. Big Chill of course and Husak. I don't know if there are any other legitimate Billikens 7 footers, although I might be missing 1 or 2.
David King
I'm 7' 0". Back in 1986, Coach Grawer pretty much gave up on me after I dropped a brick on Jim Roder's head during wind sprints.
Box and Won
Kwamain Mitchell McCall is listed at 6 feet, but I think that is probably generous. McBroom is under 6 feet. Kwamain is around 5'10.

DeSmetBilliken
Kwamain's #1 on my list, and I'm not sure if #2 is close, at least for players I've watched.
WVBilliken
David Burns was listed at 6'0", but was probably less. What a terrific player during a time SLU basketball was not very good. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Burns_(basketball)
