i think we should wait and see what the arrangements are and if the family sets up some sort of program/benefit we can react accordingly. we should respect the family wishes.14 likes -

Here is a link to Ford's wife's Baby Registry: https://www.babylist.com/baby-courtney-stuen I think it would be a cool way to show the support if the blog could throw her some support during this tough time.5 likes -

I think it is definitely more powerful to come together as a billikens.com community and provide straight financial support. A bunch of strangers buying things off a baby registry is sort of weird. Just my .022 likes -

-I would guess there would be a way to donate to the family that gets released, if not, if Steve would collect contributions and donate in the name of Billkens.com that might be nice2 likes -
Travis did an interview with Frank about Ford. It is fantastic, and a good look into just how close they were.1 like

Prayers for Coach Stuen

Such a shame to be be taken from this world at such a young age, with a young growing family, and a bright future doing something he loved. God be with you on your next journey Ford Stuen and with those you left behind way too early. Ford we hardly knew ye, but you will be missed by all those whose lives you touched.1 like -
Prayers for Coach Stuen

My heart is broken... I can't imagine the pain of his family and the pain of the team. Ford is and always will be a cornerstone of Team Blue, but, more than that, he is a son, husband, and father. Prayers to the Stuens.1 like -
Dang. Can’t even imagine. This is a shock to the system. Eternal rest, grant unto him, Lord. And let perpetual light shine upon him.1 like

I like the Billikens, Cardinals, and Blues. I'm not a big soccer fan, but I will root for City when they start up. EDIT: I forgot, I like the Memphis Grizzlies. I root for Mizzou and Northwestern in college football, but when either of them lose, it doesn't ruin my day. Pretty much any loss by the Billikens men's basketball team will ruin my day or at least p--- me off for a few hours. I hate losing 11 a.m. games on Saturdays because it maximizes the amount of time in which I'm in a foul mood. I am not mature enough to be happy for other teams'/programs' success when it comes to sports, so when schools like Loyola go on a run, it brings me no joy. My first-tier most hated are Notre Dame, Dayton, Cubs, Royals, Chiefs, and Rams. I hate Marquette. I hate LaSalle because of their stupid, low-budget arena. Creighton can get f-ed. So can pretty much everyone else. I have all sorts of reasons for hating all sorts of teams.1 like

Indeed. Absolutely heartbreaking. We obviously don't want to speculate but the ventilator makes me think of covid right away of course. No one in his age group and in the shape he was in should go like this.-3 likes
