3star_recruit Posted March 11 Posted March 11 Great honor for Jimerson. He made a helluva push the last two weeks of the season to elevate his status and I'm glad to see him recognized. If Avila wasn't so inconsistent during that same period, he's on the first team instead of Bailey. Quote
HoosierPal Posted March 11 Posted March 11 Jimerson All-Academic to me is his top honor. billiken_roy and CenHudDude 2 Quote
Cowboy Posted March 11 Posted March 11 -nice individual recognition, congrats guys -not to be Bonnie Buzzkill, SVU is seeded two spots ahead of us and is represented on the 2nd and 3rd team, not sure what, if anything, that is indicating Quote
Old guy Posted March 11 Posted March 11 Avila is indeed a great player, however he needs a lot of support from a team that is well attuned to play with him. This support was lacking for a good part of the year because of various reasons. Jimerson played better than Avila this year. However, the team has played better, with more cohesion, by the end of the season. I think if we can beat VCU we might just be able to win the A10 tournament. If we lose against VCU we may not go anywhere after the A10 tournament. And, if we beat VCU but lose the championship game we might, just might, go at large to the Dance or go to NIT. This is just my opinion, it is not based upon facts or stats, just on the way I think it will go. Quote

The key for us is to be able to beat VCU. Quote

SluSignGuy Posted March 11 Author Posted March 11 It just me, or is it odd that most of the teams have 6 rather than 5 players Quote
