Aquinas
The Good. We have covered The Bad and The Ugly. What are Ford's greatest accomplishments at SLU? Pobably signing Jordan Goodwin. He had a great career and will be a SLU hero for a very long time. Ford brought the practice of non stop recruiting, which is more important now than ever. Ford brought numerous St Louis area players to SLU. In addition to Goodwin. Thatch, TJ, Yuri, and Perkins. There are more players of note. I'll mention one more in Gibson Jimerson, and if he comes back for one last year, will set records that might last forever. dennis_w likes this
cgeldmacher
The JGood and French years were fun. Yuri was fun to watch and appreciate as well. He would always get us optimistic with recruiting. The A-10 tournament run and NCAa appearance was nice. I also appreciated the way he was a non stop promoter of the program. thatskablamo
His “blessed” video. Without that, we aren’t where we are today as a program.

GOSLU68
Proved Slu could once again recruit larger athletes even if he dud not get as much from his big men as we hoped. As much as I like l liked Sodie and Spoon we had teams that had few people who could even dunk

thetorch
The A10 Tourney title and NCAA tournament appearance were his top accomplishments. He spearheaded many upgrades to the facilities at Chairfetz. He brought BCS style expectations to our program that we hadn't had before. Restarted the program after the Crews debacle. Brought in some of my favorite players, Goodwin, French, Perkins, Collins, Jimerson. AGB91 and RiseOfTheBillikens like this
Clocktoweraccords2004
Tremaine Isabel and a few others are missing. He also would have had a top 25 program if we didn’t have the incident his first year
Minerva N. Owl
Took a road trip to KC for the game against Kansas State, Dec 21, 2019 ... Bills shocked KState 66-63 for an impressive neutral court victory. *** Also, two games against St. Bonaventure are memorable: During Ford's first year, the lost bus saga ... Feb 8, 2017 @ Oleans, after losing to Bonnies, the team also lost the bus. The bus driver apparently went bar hopping during the game. March 7, 2020 @ Chaifetz, five game winning streak, the Bills were on the bubble, and were in position to get in the tournament with a good run, but this was the last game before COVID. It was a Mardi Gras Saturday in St. Louis, with a very festive atmosphere, lots of energy, and a decisive win. Most of us didn't anticipate that the A10 tournament would be shut down days later ... Selection Sunday never came that year. *** On the whole, Ford sort of gave what was promised from the beginning: pretty good at recruiting, but not so great as a bench coach. Dr. Holly Hills
Made an effort to recruit local guys. Was good with local media and good spokesperson for SLU. His players liked playing for him for the most part and they never gave up. Won a good amount of regular season games.
