Yeah, I recognize that.  However, traffic drops considerably a week or two after the men's basketball team's season ends.  My hope is the hiccups are very small.

-I hoped that didn't need blue font

-a coaching search might be happening, though

Only posting this because I put wheels in motion today, but in late March, we may experience some server downtime or hiccups with the site.  In brief, we are staying with the same server company but moving to a different package.

A reason for this is that it will put us on a more logical billing cycle (i.e. if I need to make server changes in the future) for a team that plays from October to March, along with my personal work calendar (i.e., September is busier for me than August).

And to think, I was going to switch servers this week!

I did a small server software upgrade tonight.  Please let me know if you experience problems.

Steve, it looks like the “view counter” may not be working on threads. On the Day in the Life of Kellen Thames thread, it shows 0 views. I’ve viewed that thread 3 times myself.

I’m viewing it on mobile.

Thank you for highlighting this (it reflected something larger that could cause a bigger problem).  I reset a setting, but it may not fix counters for 24 hours.

Steve, I do not deal with servers directly but I have read a lot of reports about the CrowdStrike outage. The issues appear to go a lot deeper and are a lot more complex that it looked when it happened. It is possible that the vast majority of Windows servers were affected in some way or the other by this. I also understand that clients using specific provider server services for their own purposes may not be able to fully fix their issues, the server services provider may be the only one that can get things fully functional for them and it may take time.

What I did this weekend had nothing to do with Crowdstrike.  Just upgraded our version of PHP, in anticipation of a few future upgrades/changes.

Is anyone else having problems using the private message thread feature of the board.  Specifically trying to go to different pages (using links) of a private message?

I did an upgrade to the board last night, and at least for me, private messages are not working well.

Some features are buggy.  Right now if I have a poster on ignore, there is no option to look at an individual post like there used to be.

No issue accessing from my IPad, iPhone, or Mac Mini, just checked them all.

Clearly SLU IT is blocking access to biilikens.com because they don't want anyone reading all the Chris May criticism. 😀

Or they want @SluSignGuy to actually do some dang work........those books and grant proposals don't write themselves you know!

Dr. Sign Kid, I tried private messaging you some time ago but could never open your prompt response. I have the same problem Torch had long ago.
If I go to Billikens.com I get an opening page but I’m unable to navigate to the message board or see the schedule or anything else. I can log straight into the message board and participate in the discussion that way.
