Please don’t interrupt this riveting discussion of Harris Stowe’s basketball history.

Lol i love that the guy who posts on Billikens.com, starts a lot of good threads, and started a season long A10 pick em thread is being questioned for his fanhood.
    It’s rockhurt. It’s a dumb game.

Last night was a wonderful time for Mr. Hines and had he not been on the team the Billikens may have lost that game.
Last season I referred to Mr. Hines as walk on and posters on this site set me straight  and I appologized for it.
With the unexpected lose of two guards it is great that Mr. Hines Is on the roster.

First, that was possibly my favorite Hines performance. He was on fire.  Few turnovers.  He acted a lot like a senior leader.  It was good play and a good win.
Second, I made a bet with someone named NextYearBill, at the end of last year.  It totaled $1,000 over whether Hines would play a single minute in the first half of any game this year.  I simply ask that NextYearBill donate $1,000 to SLU.
    Easy money.
ps- sorry to Billikens05 for the false accusation.  See below.

Whoa...they gots a 12 footer?  And his name is Crazy?  Well, that's just....crazy.  Gonna be tough to defend.  Well, can one of our players stand on another player's shoulders? I don't recall anything in the rule book saying you can't do it.

    What about a zipline?
    I think that would work.

I hear Cuonzo was at Webster this morning visiting his aunt, any truth to this?

This is an excellent post.  The way I see it #1 (maybe) and #2 are still being investigated.  Seems wrong to hand down a punishment before the investigation(s) have concluded, so the current punishment fitting with #3 makes the most sense.  Additionally, given the losing a year of eligibility issue, I'd imagine the current "suspension" will be in effect until the Title IX investigation is concluded and the school hands down a punishment or "clears" them.

Harris Stowe is not good by any stretch of the imagination ...

An item from the Roby article that has not been mentioned is that Austin Gillmann has graduated with a BA in Business Administration and is working on his Masters at SLU.  Congratulations and good luck to the young man.
[TrollPants, I know you read everything I post.  The total is now 27 of 28 since 2008, or 96.4%.  Don't bother to respond, as you are at the top of my Ignore list.]

I prefer Ex-Cop Donut Shop donuts. They used to be available at the Dierberg's in Manchester. Last I saw they had them at the Phillips 66 on Manchester that used to be a Conoco, near Weidman.
(Another thread diverts into food talk. Bonwich would be proud.)

Gordon is a true STL guy, prob a worlds fair donut fan, not going to be swayed by flashy out of town donuts pretending to be St. Louis's donut

I don’t care for two reasons:
    1.  It is Mizzou
    2.  It is a scrimmage.  Who cares.  Same as preseason football.  Irrelevant.

    Good column today by Ortiz.
His contrarian/hot take columns don't really earn the "I'm smarter than you." tone that Strauss also had. (And I really liked Strauss).  He reminds me more of Burwell though I think Burwell actively tried to piss people off more that Ortiz does.
I do think about half of the hate that goes Ortiz's way in this community would go away if his name were James Smith.

Wisconsin beats Missouri in a closed scrimmage.
Wiscosnin is predicted a mid tier B10 team this year and routed a predicted top 25 Missouri.

I only posted this because a bad Missouri helps SLU recruiting (Torrence Watson, Pickett etc)

The connections you would make as a premier athlete at an Ivy are just below NBA lottery pick on the value scale.  Go to the Ivy and be surrounded by attractive ladies the rest of your post college life because you are rich and connected  thanks to playing basketball at Harvard.

Yes, won 80-73.  Bonner had 24 and 19,  Luechtefeld 19 and 4 and Big Chill 12 and 7.  Longley had 12 and 18.
Lost the next NIT game at MSG to Vandy by 2.
  22. HoosierPal liked a post in a topic by HoosierBilliken in Fall 2017 allegations against unnamed players (aka Situation 2)
I think you meant to say, "If the police do not file charges...."  Police is not singular form.  Police refers to a group of people.
Now, it would be okay for you to say, "If the prosecutor doesn't file charges..."  The word "doesn't" would properly be used in this manner since "prosecutor"  is in singular form.

I'm just glad I'm not in college anymore.
I guess I'd be considered a prude because I think having an orgy and filming it is crazy.
It blows my mind that today's college kids seem to find this normal.
I'm not going to pretend to know what happened or if the players are innocent or not, but I do know that consensual or not, this type of behavior  was not normal 15 years ago.
