SluSignGuy
Since this happens almost every other week, I thought I would start the official thread to track some team breaking our record of scoring 20 points at GW. Pistol
Kentucky 86, Montana State 28. Another tease. It's gonna happen sooner or later, though.
kshoe
We may have a candidate here: Louisville leads savannah st 29-0 with 4:30 to go in the first half. I double checked that this was not a football score.
billikenfan05
7 point half.
kshoe
7 point half. Too many for a blowout game. Our record will likely survive!
For-DaLove
Following these games only makes it more depressing. It is seriously hard for a team to do what we did.
kshoe
Following these games only makes it more depressing. It is seriously hard for a team to do what we did. Agreed. I think it needs to be a similar game as ours where its relatively close and the last few possessions have the starters from the other team just holding the ball. These blowouts just lead to second and third team players trying to score and lazy defense in the second half.
Pistol
Michigan State held Santa Clara to 14 in the first half. Virtually no chance in this one, but worth noting.

waldo027
Following these games only makes it more depressing. It is seriously hard for a team to do what we did. Yep. Watching SJU vs Gonzaga proves how horribly you have to play to only score 20.

The problem is how big each bucket is and the teams end up getting a few uncontested lay ups at the end
thetorch
Louisville 67 Savannah St 12 with less than 11 minutes left.

thetorch
Savananah St scored again. 14 with under 10 minutes.
Bizziken
They'll get more than 20...hopefully they won't torture us and get 21... In all seriousness, it really puts things into perspective that just a few short years ago we scored 20 points in 40 minutes of basketball. A loss yesterday doesn't seem that terrible when compared to that...
thetorch
Not gonna happen. 16 points now.

slufan13
It's not gonna happen in a blow out game. Need the other team to be horrible too and win like 45-
billikenbill
Pitino had this in the bag for us until he decided to go with "four white guys and an Egyptian." His words not mine.
