Worst officiating I have ever seen in any sporting event I've ever been to in my entire life. I believe this crew also officiates some A-10 basketball games on the side. An absolute rob job. I believe they were escorted off with the assistance of campus rent-a-cops.

A question for anyone who saw the game today and has seen SLU play other times this season. Was this the typical level of play for SLU?

Thought the no-call that led to the winner for FDU was pretty bad. Look to me that the SLU player (Kristo?) was pushed or pulled down, which led to FDU gaining possession. Still, well executed cross and header for the goal by FDU.

DeSmet, short answer is no. Our quality in the final third was simply not there tonight nor was the energy except for Graydon who I hope people saw and thought, "Wow." We didn't force their keeper into many saves (1 or 2) while Shack came off with 5 in the first half alone. Sweetin missed a golden opportunity in the first half to put us ahead form 10 yards out, but hit his volley over the cross bar.

Skip, no report really. We did not play with the quality we should have. We showed up for the first ten minutes of overtime and the beginning of the second half, but that was it.

The no-call on the manhandling of Robson which led to the turnover to FDU for their winning goal, was absolutely the worst no-call I have seen. Should have been a free kick for us out of our defensive third. The ref also made no call on Hidalgo getting pushed down in the box from behind, taken out in the box by the same guy, and gave a yellow to Roeckle for complaining rightfully about the ref letting FD sub on OUR freekick.

All in all, he didn't lose the game for us though. We looked like a team that had not played in a week playing a team that had just played a game three days ago.

Disappointing season but SLU will not get back to respectability in one year. There is a solid foundation for next year and the expectations will be high. We have a team that we can look forward to next year.
