bk18
http://sportdfw.com/2011/04/12/connell-crossland-has-committed-to-tcu/ We have 2 scholarship spots open and an associate & maybe an assistant coaching spot to fill. Rick has his hands full.
Box and Won
Did we even offer? TCU seems like an odd choice.
BACKHANDtheRICAN
Did we even offer? TCU seems like an odd choice. Has Rickma commented on us offering or that he did in fact go to TCU?
Billikan
Has Rickma commented on us offering or that he did in fact go to TCU? Coaches cannot comment--see the article about Haith and his NCAA hot water!

BBall Fan
TCU will soon be in the Big East. That might have played a part. I have a feeling that the Big East getting 11 teams in the tournament this year will play a part for a while in recruiting.

Bobby Metzinger
I'll be able to watch him fail miserably here in DFW. Good choice, dude.
For-DaLove
Slight surprise here. I was told he might be leaning towards MSU, although I knew he enjoyed his visit to TCU. We were supposedly leading for him for a while.

For-DaLove
Any other names that we should hope for other then Chievous? There are a few, but Chievous is the only one I have any confidence in us landing. I've been expecting Chievous and Crossland for a while now.

TheA_Bomb
TCU is very similar to SLU in size etc. They are in the center of an urban area (but considerably nicer than midtown). They just are in the Big East and have a FB team with two straight BCS bowls and undefeated regular seasons. So not too odd a choice. Yeah...And they've were/are in on some top 150 High School players. They are definitely raising the bar on the talent they're recruiting. brianstl
Yeah...And they've were/are in on some top 150 High School players. They are definitely raising the bar on the talent they're recruiting.Being in the Big East is going to make recruiting a lot easier for him. I don't think many SLU fans understand what a blow it was to the program it was when the old CUSA fell apart. Recruiting at SLU got a lot tougher. The A 10 is a nice conference, but it isn't the Big East or even the old CUSA.
