Even our high roller fans behind our bench have left.  SLU would ruin a wet dream.

I also noticed they had abandoned the ship, Taj.

Final Score:  @ Butler 75 SLU 45.

SLU's Record falls to 3-2-2, Three Wins, 2 Losses, SLU Situation 2.0/SLU Administration 2.  As Mike Shannon would say, the deuces are wild.

After having watched the last 4 games, the problems this team is having is not totally due to the "situation".  They are not shooting, rebounding, missing FTs and have been TOs crazy.  This has nothing to do with who or who is not there.  Players should still be able to hit a 3 - the team is shooting in the mid to high 20s% from the field (total).  You can say that they are short handed but being short handed does not make your first half so pitiful.  Fatigue is not the issue then.  Bottom line is this team is not playing well - why - your guess is as good as mine but maybe the players need to look in the mirror.

This cannot be overstated either.  SLU Situation 2.0 and the absence of the 2 shooting guards is clearly having an adverse effect on this team, both mentally, and in terms of the basketball talent on the floor.

You can't win if you can't score.  And you can't score if you can't shoot and make baskets.  It is that simple.

The jump shooters aren’t playing.  Most of these guys have never been good free throw shooters. Can’t aggressively play defense or rebound aggressively because they don’t have enough players to risk getting in foul trouble.  Teams tend to turn the ball over more when the guys playing are tired.
