Bobby Metzinger
Remember when John Manning was a McDonalds AA nominee? That was great. McDonald's and AA were things I needed when watching Manning run the floor.
DeSmetBilliken
Remember when John Manning was a McDonalds AA nominee? That was great. Nominee and actual McDonalds All-American are different. Hundreds, if not thousands of players are nominated each year. Around 20-25 actually are named McDonalds All-Americans.
hsmith19
Manning was rated like the #40 center in the country at one point.
cgeldmacher
https://www.facebook.com/cowboybasketball/videos/889069864508807/ Hopefully, this link works. This is a must watch. Someone going to the press conference needs to ask Coach Ford if he's going to recreate any music videos with our team.

BANG! He Got It!
https://www.facebook.com/cowboybasketball/videos/889069864508807/ Hopefully, this link works. This is a must watch. Liddell's "For My People" video? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NSuLJOi3mNA
Bay Area Billiken
In the immortal words of former Billiken Broadcaster Harry Caray, Holy Cow! Is this real? At SLU? Have I just died and gone to Heaven? I have literally been waiting for this my whole life. We are Saint Louis! Let's go Bills!
JMM28
Is anyone on the live stream? I'm having a hard time getting it to work for me, but maybe they haven't turned it on yet.

HoosierPal
The offer was given to Ford BEFORE the Valpo NIT game on Tuesday. So you can speculate on what that means. Chris May used his contacts in the Big 12 from his previous gig at Colorado to dig deep into Travis Ford the coach and person. We should have factored those connections into all the speculation. Per Stu, he believes it is a 5 year contract, probably in the $10M neighborhood, but with the OSU dollars factored in. So the contract would be back loaded for SLU. Pistol
The best thing about Ford: he's not from Indiana. He said he wanted SLU to be the destination for top recruits from "St. Louis, Kansas City, the rest of Missouri, Illinois, and Kansas" - and never mentioned Indiana. Surprised he didn't mention western Kentucky, where he's from and where he grew up a Cardinal fan. We're closer to them than we are to any part of Kansas. moytoy12
I'm pretty sure it was a joke, but a poster on the OSU message board suggested that Ford would hire Gottlieb as an assistant.
