SluBallz
With us breaking into the top 25, is there anyway that Butler is ranked higher then us when we beat them twice.
DD3
I don't see how. My prognostication, for what it's worth: Butler #22 and SLU #20. Lot of love from media types on twitter tonight--we'll see if that parlays SLU inside the Top 20.
kshoe
I'm thinking 19. If this week wasn't impressive enough, winning on Friday night without any other games of significance going on is a big deal
Prairie Bill
No. Whatever any mathematical model might show, the two rankings are driven by personal opinions of identified writers and coaches. Anyone who ranked us beneath someone we have beaten home & away, would have some 'splaining to do.
GOSLU68
They have still beaten higher ranked teams than us. It is still about match ups. I am excited for the rest of the season I think this team is finally playing what Majerus taught them. Sadly, Majerus couldn't be here. MB73
In Vegas, the Bills as of this moment after the Butler win are tied for 17th with seveal teams, based on how they are playing the last 9 games, the idea "how we are as of this moment". AP and USA Today think more about our bad losses and that we have not beat a power conference team... so depending upon how the teams from last week in these polls did (bizzleboy, look it up) I would say we get to 23rd or so. moytoy12
Thank god the refs gave us that game tonight. Hopefully, they will be voting us into the top 10.
Taj79
I believe 17 or 18 would be about right. Certainly ahead of Butler, New Mexico and VCU for certain. But I think in reality, we'll be lucky to see 22 based on how these things work.

David King
VCU drops out SLU 19 Butler 22 Of course it really depends on how the rest of the Top 25 performs.
billikenman
More important than ranking, how much has SLU improved their NCAA seed. Most brackets before this weekend had us as an 8 or 9 seed. Now that we are ranked and hot do we move up to a 6 or 7 seed? Curious to seem some Lunardi bracketology after this week on huge wins. David King
Majerus should be listed as co-coach for this year, and the wins from this year should be added to his record. I'll personally change his Wikipedia page at the end of this season.
DiehardFan
If we aren't ranked higher than Butler come Monday, I'll be extremely angry. How many top 25 teams do you have to beat to be ranked at a halfway decent level? Also, if you beat Butler twice and aren't ranked higher than them with our resume, the whole system is rigged. Good news if we are screwed in the polls other teams may take us lightly in the NCAA Tournament.

The three teams immediately above VCU lost as well this week. VCU beats X, I think they'll remain in top 25 but if they slip, only a few notches. billiken class of 15
Dont post often, but at this point, I dont think rankings matter. We know how good we are. We've already shown 4 TIMES this season that we dont care who's ranked higher than us. Let's not worry about the media ttention, keep up the amazing play, and win ourselves an A10 title.
