Did I find the correct guy? EMMANOUIL TSELENTAKIS ? If so, it says his height is 1.92 meters which would be 6'3" ? He's a guard? Wasn't the Greek guy supposed to be a big?

I have no clue. I googled that name and thats what stats came up

Greek was always a guard. Billikan posted a few weeks ago that he was a 6'3 or 4 combo guard. From the looks of it he seems to be strictly off ball for now definitely a wing. Seems to be a match for Salecich, hopefully with a little more skill.

I don't think he played HS ball in the States. Majerus always said his mom was an American player who played pro in Greece.

I bet he is happy to have an excuse to leave Greece...

He played in Singapore Tournament 2010 USA came in 4th

Average points totals were often things like 35-29

1.92 meters tall and plays 2/3 tough defensively hopefully a Femi Jon type

Couple of years ago we were in Greece and all the waterfront cafes had basketball games on TV.

If you have a job it is absolutely beautiful.

I know nothing about this kid, but it seems he is a decent 2/3 to fill out the roster and to give us more practice bodies. It wouldn't surprise me if he redshirted or was one of the last guys off the bench this season.

Again, I hope i'm wrong and wish the kid the best, but I do not have high expectations for his freshman year.

If you know nothing what is the point of putting at end of bench.

Especially if his family has a reputation for world class sports-maybe the real target is a sister for Shimmy and RM is helping out.

That is as good a speculation and she might be the next Theresa Lisch and make Jimbo happy

Fair enough and I hope the kid proves me wrong. My gut tells me he is end of bench material for his freshman year. I'm happy to be wrong on this.

Given how deep our backcourt already is, anything you get from him this year and next is probably a bonus. I don't know jack about this guy, but hopefully he'll be good enough to stay on the roster and develop into a productive player by the time he's an upperclassmen.

In truth, that's how it should be every year moving forward. Freshman should not be leaned on they way this program has over the past 3 years.

I hope this doesn't sway Ellenson's decision. He looks like a good get.

Agreed - we need to start being like other good programs - not needing to rely on freshmen for the bulk of our minutes. We need to be developing them for our system and type of atmosphere we want on the team.

That's probably him on the left in the picture. There's nothing about his on Scout or Rivals so I had to turn to Facebook.

This is interesting, he list Rose-Hulman as a network.

Don't we have a one of our biggest posters send his daughter to Rose-Hullman? Maybe that poster can enlighten us.

We didn't get Ellenson. We are "in the running" according to HTB.

Pretty sure what he meant was more like "He looks like he would be a good get". I don't think anyone who is paying attention to Ellenson thinks we've already inked him.

If he's seriously interested in rose and the interest is mutual he's a bright kid.

Not sure exactly how you mean that but no one transfers to rose. They could never catch up academically.

Anybody have an extra-large eyeroll smiley? Roy, we get that Rose-Hulman is a great school, and I'm sure you're very proud of your daughter, but you don't have to be the President of the Mensa society to go there. Calm down.

This is why you should never take a pot shot at a kid you know nothing about. You hinted something negative and now you change your tune.
