Billikenbooster
NOW this is getting interesting...in the past this is the kind of player we would get to the dance with, only to have him go home with someone else. We are going head to head with other quality programs, and we are going to fight and kick and grab. I love it! Go get 'em, Rick! mhg
stlsfinest
I agree. Thompson is the type of player that Majerus loves. Brad was able to keep his attention for a while, but Majerus and Moser have the ability to bring him here. They will do all that they can to get him on campus. Don't be surprised if this kid picks SLU in the end.
ACE
Majerus will rattle off all the big guys he's helped get in the NBA.

billiken_roy
let's not forget that just a few months ago, thompson said slu was his favorite. thorpe and soderberg set a good baseline for moser and majerus to step in.

Let's hope that is his order of preference too.

davidlee
I hope it's SLU, but please any place but Indiana. Just so NO to "Mr. 800 illegal phone calls" Sampson - Chairman of the NCAA Basketball Ethics committee

Hardball
Give it a rest Roy. If SLU get's any of the 2008 class it will not be because of any foundation laid by BS or AT. The success or failures in the 2008 class will be soley RM's.
Basketball Junkie
Thompson is suppose to be in St Louis to meet with Majerus and Moser for an un-official visit on Wednesday May 9th. According to sourses close to the family, he is about 99% sure SLU will be his school of choice. GO BILLIKENS!!!!!!!

Major Majerus
D1 hoops - the greatest show on earth. I went to campus today, looking for the combination of a big tall guy and a short fat guy...didn't see it. At 3:30, WP was dark; no pickup going on. I walked down to the new arena, but didn't enter the grounds due to the signage. I walked back past WP before returning to my car, and it was still dark. Maybe someone else can confirm a sighting... Band Man
I was walking past West Pine today at about 5:15 and there was activity inside. Several Players were shooting around inside (I couldn't tell who because of the glare). Also, one of the multi-seat golf carts was parked outside. I don't know if that had anything to do with Thompson on campus, but I do know that in the past when I've seen recruits on campus, they have been escorted through campus on that golf cart. jjray
Nice detective work Band Man. It's great to have our posters loitering around WP throughout the day to gather intelligence.
Major Majerus
D1 hoops - the greatest show on earth. Out of curiosity, why didn't you go in? You could have done so in about a minute.
Band Man
I was already late to meet a group to compile a paper for our final group project...normally I would have stopped in just to take a look.

jimbofive
That's what I'm thinking... if you brought back good news on a potential Billikens recruit your study group would have gone NUTS. Oh, wait...
