Who is the best reasonable candidate?
Is it Wade? What he did this year is pretty amazing. He's 18-8 in 2 years coaching in the A10, though he did take over a good team.
Schertz took an Indiana State team that hasn't done anything in 23 years to being ranked in year 3.
McCollum has won non-stop in state at DII.
Brey was a fixture in the NCAA tournament for nearly a decade.
C. Martin? Nah
Devries, he did win the MVC Tournament. He won before his son got there too.
Wade would be an amazing hire. Not sure if it’s even a possibility.

Call me pessimistic but I have a bad feeling we are gonna mess up this hire.
I’m beginning to feel this way. Hope I’m wrong.

That was why he left us for Loyola - he could have waited around a year and had our job but she wanted back. I wondered how going to OK was going to work out.
Bummer. The outside chance as slim as it was of having Moser back at SLU was at least comforting if nothing else. My years as a SLU fan have me worried that the dominoes will start falling and May will just watch it all unfold around him.

It’s tiresome wanting more for SLU than it appears to want for itself. Both May and Ford are dead weight, but hey Don’t judge results, just happily let them cash checks for ever. Got it. Accepting failure is worse than failing.

Was there a Ford interview on 101ESPN this morning? Anyone catch it?
I happened to be in the car when he was on, plugged Billiken madness. Coach was asked about Yuri, mentioned again he is a true old school PG. coach was asked about the loss of JB and TI as leaders, said he is more than confident with Goodwin and French leading, and he stated that what we lost in experience we have replaced with talent and athleticism.
this is my best recreation

Word is that Billikens.com user @Pistol makes an appearance in this episode, as well. Tough to make your podcast debut by following the legendary Rammer, but you have to rise to the occasion on THTRB podcast.
you have a source for such claim?

They will regret "not taking" Collins, too, when it's all said and done.
They should have taken E.J. Liddell, too.
But at least the porters worked out!

According to mu message boards only bess would get any playing time in columbia. So why would they want a lower tier castoff like hargrove? they believe that if they were in the a-10 they would win the conference easily. go billikens
They suck, their fans are goons, and they can watch the states only tourney team on TV.

You guys know we are playing in the NCAA tourney this week right? We should be busy promoting everything Billikens and trolling Mizzou fans, then you wouldn’t have time for this distraction. Go Bills!

Great post. I was hopeful that the strategy was just Biondi trying to buy up all things around the campus, but it appears it is continuing under Weak Fred.
No bars around campus just means more of the student body is driving around St. Louis drunk. It doesn't curb any sort of drinking activities. And, as you said, it lessens the community feeling. A lot of my favorite memories from SLU were set at Humphrey's, Laclede Street, or the various iterations of Freddy's. Nights in Soulard were fun, but it didn't have the same feel.I love this take. The loss of humps is not just a huge cultural loss, but a citywide health and safety issue! We need to get the soccer moms on this one.

As he is a 19yo young man with a long life ahead of him, I hope he figures out who he is, what he wants, and goes and gets it.
with that said, there exists no honor in walking out on your teammates. Abandoning those who battled with you, and those who had your back.
Done with this. Next up.
