When you shoot 25 in a row you get in a rhythm. Easy. Plus there's not the pressure of having every eye in the house on you with crazed students yelling "hey, I did your mom last night.",  waving those pool styrofoam sticks, or giving you a moonshot. And there may well be the game on the line, which is like us having to make a 3 foot putt to win the $5 Nassau.
Shooting x number of FTs in a row and making a lot of them is why it's been reported Has hits a bunch of them. He's not thinking just shooting. It's when he thinks about them with all The hullabaloo going on around him that it all goes south for him. That's why I think he needs some professional to give him some concentration tips to consider when he goes to the line. Focus on those then pull the trigger.

For anyone who's ever played golf and suffered the putting yips or chipdipsia (which I've fought for the last 2-3 years), you actually dread having to hit these shots. That is not the way to approach those shots. You need to do it with confidence. I seriously think Has is frightened to death of going to the line, and that's going to take some to time conquer, if he ever does.

Some of us have observed Has in warmups shooting about 10-15 FTs and, surprisingly, he makes a lot of them. His form is different in warmups than in the game. It looks fluid in the pregame, but in the game he's forcing and pushing the shot. His misses aren't even close and downright ugly. Get him to a shrink.

    1) what self respecting school would have brown  and white as their colors?
    2) what exactly is a Bonnie, as in my Bonnie lies over the ocean?
    3) why is a school located inside the Arctic circle in the A10?
    4) are they as big as a large HS?
    5) why doesn't their coach just leave?
    6) welding should not be a college major. No disrespect to welders who probably make more $ than most St B grads out of HS.
7.) they employ drunk bus drivers.
8.) they have to be paying players to go to school in the North Pole.
9.) Their cheerleaders are .... uh, that would be misogyny. Forget it.
10.) they usually have their way with us. This must stop on Saturday.

I missed real time but showed great self control and watched my DVR version. What a great effing win! Not going to knock any player, the coach, or anyone. This was a HUGE win. We looked awesome. Jimmy Bell is going to be a force in the A10. TJ played great. JGood and Has big time. Yurimania some great assists. Perkulator is Mr Smooov! Love this team! They can make the Dance!

I'm pretty sure a lot of us will be looking for a tall bridge if those guys get recruited away from the Fetz. Think back to Sit 2 for a minute, though, would JGood still be a Billiken if this rule were in effect then? I'd wager he'd be an Illini or playing for Coach Poach. Speaking of Coach Poach and this rule, it's akin to having the fox moving his den right next door to your chicken coop. You can bet he'll be tracking SLU's players non stop.
When is this rule supposed to go into effect?

I think you have to look at why the one year sit out rule was first put in place. I'm not sure what the reasoning was but am pretty sure a lot of AD's wanted it due to recruiting and ancilliary expenses of getting a kid signed up out of HS. Honestly, I am somewhat surprised they are reconsidering it. If a kid's hell bent on getting out of school A, he'll take the year and use it wisely. I do agree if the coach jumps ship on a recruit, the recruit should be released from his obligation. But Travis is right when he says what will this do to HS recruiting? What will it do to current rosters? Do you start revoking players scholies when you need a good PG, PF, or Sniper.
What's a guy like Calipari going to do under this rule? He's finding out one and doners may not be end all he figured it was. UK is all about national championship banners, and they don't care what it takes to hang another one. So, Calipari looks at the A10 and sees players like Mitchell, the GW Freshman, Yuri, Perkins, Jimerson, you get the picture. Do you think, he wouldn't like to load up UK with an all mid major squad made up of experienced and proven Sophs, Juniors, and Seniors? He'd do it in a NY minute. And then Coach K, who followed Calipari's lead of loading up on one and doners, would quickly follow suit. Then the transfer train starts rolling down the track and all the elites are jumping on board. You got cherry picking going on all over the place, except the mids will be left to pick over the bones of released P5-6 players.
This no penalty rule is a lousy rule. Scholarship athletes ARE different than your everyday student.  They are granted access to privileges that everyday students don't receive. There's got to be a cost to them for those privileges, and right now that cost is sitting out a year if you leave. I don't think for a young person who might graduate when he's 22 or 23 instead of 21 that is too high a price to pay for a free education.  We all ready give these kids a lot of free passes, it's time they learned the hard economic rule of Tanstafl, There ain't no such thing as a free lunch.
