A Wednesday game is pretty much set in stone at this point. We'd have to win out and St. Joe's would have to lose out to add a fifth team to the mix for the four Wednesday teams.

Right now, the path is Duquesne-UMass-Dayton-Davidson-VCU, with the first three matchups locked in and the last two assuming higher seeds win.

Would playing on the first day of the tournament really be the worst thing for this team?

-I don't believe Wednesday games are on tv in STL and I would doubt one would be picked up unless the U wrote the check and quite frankly if they asked me to donate to make it happen I would pass (and I do not get those calls)

-first to worst, so next season we can go worst to first

Really want to play Fordham again. Even last year's team lost to Duquesne and struggled with Mason but I just want to make things right again and beat Fordham.

Need to beat Mason, which would probably make this happen.

Then again, I think I'd rather have a third crack at Duquesne on a neutral floor.

Good so now we can fly in to Brooklyn under the radar and then.....get blown out while MY sits for the second half and no one would know since it's not televised

If we lose our next 2 and then win the National Championship, we'll double our win total from right now but still finish with 5 less wins than last year.

So you're saying there's a chance...?

You can count on it. Crews will be coach of the year again.

Sorry slufan13, Kenpom hasn't been drinking the Kool-Aid. He give the Bills only a 0.3% chance of making the semis.

Onto full overdose Kool-Aid mode:

The Bills create a miracle on Atlantic Ave and win the conference. Using current RPI numbers and Lunardi's current projections, SLU sets a record that will never be broken becoming the lowest rated team to make the tournament from a high major conference. SLU goes to dayton to take on the might North Florida Ospreys and the World's Greatest Pep Band goes head to head with this guy:

PUTNAM_ROCKS.0.gif

Current RPIs per RPIForecast:

SLU 261

16-seed Texas Southern 129

16 Coastal Carolina 139

16 St. Fancis (NY) 151

16 N. Flordia 165

Duquesne and GW suck. Shouldn't have much trouble there. URI will be tough but I don't see us losing to them 3 times in one season. Same with Dayton in the semis. Don't like our chances against Davidson in the final though.

At this point, beating GW in the second round might be as big a miracle as beating Cincinnati was.

Beating anyone will be a miracle! Waiting to see how we fare on Wednesday night.

Whoa a lot of blue Kool-Aid flowing ..what is the active ingredient in that?

Winning the A-10 Tourney would be tough considering we wouldn't be favored in any game.

OK ...I wiill take a sip...

First, you will need to get a deck of cards...shuffle them...now deal out a 5 card poker hand...if it is a flush (same odds the Bills will win the A-10 tourney) then get yourself a ticket to Dayton for the Big Dance play-in game. If you want to play in slow motion ...deal yourself 1 card now and then 1 card after every win...if you still are shuffling on Sunday get your sweater vest and go.

BTW....if it is a Royal Flush (same odds of the Bills winning the Big Dance this year) get your tickets to Indy for the Final Four.

Now put down your glass and step away from the pitcher.

Same odds as a royal flush? That seems like a very optimistic take on the Bills' chances...

Chance of a US resident dying from a tsunami in his lifetime....500,000 to 1

Chance of a US resident dying from an asteroid hit in his lifetime.......500,000 to 1

Chance of a Royal Flush in the first 5 cards........649,700 to 1

Royal Flush seems about right to me....something appropriate about a Royal Flush

Well, at least the chance of winning a Royal Flush is better than the chance of winning the PowerBall.

Yes.......... and our chances of winning the A-10 tourney are also better than .........

Giving birth to quads.....705,000 to 1

Getting bingo in the first 5 numbers....715,000 t0 1

To quote Jim Carrey,,,,"so there's a chance"

Of course there is a chance to go all the way, as minimal as it may be. This is why millions of people plunk their $2 and buy PowerBall tickets whenever the prize is in the 9 figures. To rephrase this, if you have little to lose, you may opt to go for the big win. A win, any win, would be great this late in the season. If we go all the way it would be like winning the PowerBall with your $2 ticket. Imagine that!
