bonwich
As of two hours after this post. Perhaps we should start talking about something tangible. Especially with Ford leading the charge, has SLU decided to do a midnight madness or some other gimmick to jump-start enthusiasm?
CBFan
It will be interesting to see how far along Elliot Welmer is with his rehab when practice begins. It is sure a different feeling for this seasons first practice than last seasons.

This season cannot get here soon enough. i hope Ford has a couple of open practices. Does anyone know his policy on that?

Thank you, Cowboy, for providing my son-in-law with a perfect new name for his band. (Banter Inane.) Following up on my initial question about a midnight madness, can someone remind me what if anything Ford did towards the beginning of practice last year? I seem to remember a one-hour open practice or something like that, but all of my memories are jumbled during our Crews withdrawal period. But there isn't really a public practice schedule released so kind of more of a gesture right?
Old guy
If all the practices are open to the public is there a place where we can get the schedule for the practices?

Quality Is Job 1
I suspect practice times may vary and change without advance notice. They work around class schedules and tests, and they may decide to rest the team on a day previously scheduled for practice.

Cowboy
-the video posted today by SLU Men's Basketball (on the home page in the social media aggregator) shows not a lot of actual bball, but increases my excitement to see this group wearing our jersey - GO BILLS! No sweat was evident so my guess is he still isn't released for full practice.

Old guy
The issue about Welmer being a full go in October is that he has been out of the loop for a very long time and has a lot of catch up to do to fit well int he team.
