cgeldmacher Posted September 9, 2024 Posted September 9, 2024 I'm not saying that this kid is going to be the next Avila, but I'm sure that Schertz is telling bigs that can shoot that he can turn them into the next Avila. Sounds like the sales pitch worked well on this guy. Now he needs to put on muscle, work on his passing, and maybe we got a gem here. Aquinas and Zink 2 Quote
Aquinas Posted September 9, 2024 Posted September 9, 2024 Jax is too lite at the moment, but he has time to gain weight and strength. He plays above the rim, better than Avila. If he develops the passing, shooting and floor vision, he could be better than Avila, when it's all said and done. Those are significant IFs, but he looks like a player with the potential to take on that role in the future. CenHudDude and B.rizzler 2 Quote

I think Brockoff is slower, more like Avila and probably only fast enough to guard a 5. Max n Jax are quick enough to guard 4s, but at the moment may not have the weight or strength to guard bigs. Assuming they add weight n strength, it would be fun to see 2 of these guys on the floor at the same time, with the ability to play away from the basket. CenHudDude and VeniceMenace 2 Quote

I ask, because this was your first post on this board. Usually, if someone's first post is praising a new recruit, it means that they have some reason to come on her to make their statement. If you do have a connection, I would love to hear more inside info. SLU_Lax 1 Quote
