almaman
if your reading. you are going to be the top pick of your class in college basketball. You pick where to go. if all goes well you would be one of the top pics in NBA whenever you decide to go pro. Whatever team you go to is going to be one of the worst teams in league the year before you arrive. If you arrive from a college program which was also was not one of the better teams the year before you got there you would really be able to show new signer of your big $$ contract that your ability is such that you could single handily make a bad team good. cgeldmacher
Also, if you go to SLU, you can save up your laundry and have your mom do it on weekends.

I actually learned that (at least for a relative of mine who is an undergrad at SLU) the laundry machines are free in his dorm.

Yeah but it's still nicer when your mom does your laundry for you

You think UK and Duke make their players pay for laundry? Not an advantage for SLU.
hsmith19
I like this argument. I also like the chances of the Bills finishing with a better record in the A-10 this year than the Sixers' record in the NBA.
cgeldmacher
I lived in St. Louis and stayed on campus during my years at SLU. I didn't take my laundry home on weekends to avoid the cost of the laundry machines. I did it, because I didn't want to do my laundry. I may or may not have occasionally returned to this practice in law school as well.
JettFlight5
He would certainly have a higher salary at UK or Duke.

FBJT, your mom could bring her laundry to your dorm and save her money as well as washing your laundry. Or, you know, you could do your laundry

Pistol
If we send this as an open letter, can we at least proofread it first? There are more errors in the first sentence than I'm comfortable with in a much, much longer document.

Also I'm sure we could get an online scheduler and we could all sign up for different shifts to do his laundry, homework, etc.
TheA_Bomb
I think UK players are popping tags on the reg and probably not doing laundry at all. Also (don't do this during basketball season) but getting caught in morning rush hour traffic on your way back to SLU from the eastside is pretty special too. Oh and they serve slingers at multiple diners.
SluSignGuy
I really appreciate that my comment derailed this thread. Do you think the NCAA has regulations on fabric softner?
TheA_Bomb
All I know is that I didn't use fabric softener but I'm sure FBJT mom probably will so his clothes won't be itchy.
