You hate to put it one player but I surely hope w/ the remaining OOC games we give the FR some serious looks. Right now JB and GG are not bringing much to the table. SLU had 12 straight possessions without scoring. And a crushing 9-0 Wichita State run in the 2nd half erased a 58-51 SLU lead. Wichita switched to a zone, which stopped Evans. The word is out re SLU vs. the Zone. This started as early as last year's GW game in DC, a game in which SLU survived, and was the Oregon defense against SLU in the NCAA Round 3 loss. At crunch time today, WSU switched to what the CBS Sports Network announcer said was a 2-2-1, but which to me resembled a Diamond and 1. Let's see Crawford get some minutes. I understand SLU not being able to play 3 smaller guards against WSU. But once Loe fouled out, there was no 2nd (or 3rd) option to shoot the 3.
