  1. JJ needs some meat on his bones and as someone else mentioned, needs to get up more. Lot of layups in that highlight video I thought should've been dunks. I am a fan of that sweet jumper though. Foreman and Henriquez look incredibly impressive on film. I have no doubts thats these two can come in and be reliable starters on a team that will have added a 2017 Ford class. We could be cooking a lot quicker than I originally thought. Props to coach Ford.
  2. I can see Reynolds and Jolly leaving forsure. How do you think Miles feels getting burried on the bench behind a walk-on AND a frehsman after a promising start to the year? Jolly hopefully will more or less come to terms with his inability to play at this level. These are the 2 most likely. Gillman will stay because he's a local kid and the team doesn't have a true proven 5 at the moment. Milik is the most interesting of all to me. Undeniable talent. I could see the coaching change either being an extreme, well-needed refreshment for his attitude towards the situation or his polar opposite decision to leave. What ready-to-break-out junior wants to come back to summer practices only to learn the 3rd different offense in 3 years? And, unlike any other possible transfer on the team, he could end up on a better tournament-ready team. Crawford, Agbeko, and Bishop are all locks to return. I'll take both Bartley and Roby because both can shoot and both have nice upside. Hopefully the new coach can develop these guards and build off these strengths. Time will tell, but the healing process has officially begun.
  3. GW bailed out on a shooting foul after Garino lowers his shoulder into Roby lol
  4. Bartley is simply an off guard shooter.. I havent seen many people worse with the ball.
  5. The only person who consistently creates for this offense is Bishop
  6. The more bishop I see, the more of a believer I become.
  7. Hines and Bishop tonight: 60 combined minutes. 1-11 from the field 2 points 7 TO's If we learned anything from the Majerus era it's that good, consistent guard play is key. It's growing pains for Bishop, but should be an appropriate seat on the bench for Hines.
  8. of all the people on the current roster I think he'd be the most likely to stay put
  9. He's yet to score in double figures in an A-10 game this year after doing so 10 times in conference as a freshman.
  10. Didn't catch the game, but read a lot of good things about Bishop. Is he the consensus PG going forward? I know Hines lead the team with 33 minutes and 8 assists and may be a truer PG, but I can't see Bishop at the 2. Bishop has shown ability to get to the rim and that jumper is silky smoith, so I think we'll have something in him. Not sold on Hines. Think Zeke will take care of our 2 guard spot long term with Bishop at the point, Crawford as a swing 3, a more developed Milik at the 4 and Reggie at the 5.
  11. For some reason the stars aligned...thought it was a weird/overhyped hire at the time, but look what can happen
  12. hahaha..Chaiftez used to be the place opponents got blown out
  13. Hate to think what Majerus could've done against an "overseeded" Oregon and up against Louisville with 9 minutes left.... Majerus recutis.... Majerus System.... Crews coach?
  14. St. Joseph's knocked off #15 Dayton to claim the A10 crown (for now) tonight.. A10 might send 5 teams to the tournament. Oh what Cody Ellis used to do to the flying hawks of St. Joseph. This victory keeps our chances of staying out of LAST PLACE alive! Not to be another negative poster of yet another negative topic, but this is a free fall.
  15. but I thought we could be a middle of the pack team with a refreshed Crews offense and a walk-on starting guard?????
  16. Bring an MLS franchise to STL, put the stadium in/near midtown, and the problem is solved.
