Plus another player picture. Two articles, one beat writer and Burwell. Covered 75% of the page. Page 5: there were continuations of the two front page articles with more pictures, stats, box scores, everyting, 66% of the page. Page 6: decent article on Billikens, with a picture of all A-10 Conklin getting his shot blocked. Oh. While we are 24-6 and NCAA bound. WTF? Defend this, SL Post shills. I saw it by accident, not at my house, no way, it is a reminder of why I terminated having this socialist rag delivered to my home 6 months ago. They call me every 2 weeks begging, with a new deal, lower price. Front page editior, editorial page editor, they have all called. Never, I tell them. Socialists now rely on the free market (i.e. calling private citizens for subscriptions)? You're surprised that a Mizzou-educated sports staff writes more about Mizzou than SLU in a market where Mizzou has more TV coverage and more recent success? MB, self-awareness goes a long way. Just because someone isn't presenting exactly what you don't want to see doesn't mean it's evil or they're out to get you. It's all right, buddy. The P-D isn't great by a long shot but it's actually better than a lot of other cities' newspapers (pick up a Cincinnati Enquirer sometime). And I also hate that we don't get as much respect as Mizzou but I understand why. Step back and realize that you sound like a crazy person. I was an 18 year in home subscriber and cancelled a couple of years ago over delivery problems. I was one of those people that just had to read the paper every morning with breakfast. Serioulsy, didn't know how I was going to make it without my morning newspaper. Now ..... I don't miss it at all. Subsciptions = about 3% of the metropolitan marketplace, only paper in SL, but it is solid as a rock. It shat on SLU again today, but that is fine with you, give them another 40 years of leeway. As a St. Louis born and raised Billiken fan, it is appropriate that I am concerned that they continue to skew the hoops reporting favorably towards Missouri and against St. Louis University.
