cheeseman
12M and more to come - I wonder what that means. Anyway, I am thinking of naming my first born Chaifetz. I am grateful for him stepping up and have no problem with the arena being named after him. Kudos and thanks again. I plan to clap loudly for him tonight at the game. jimbofive
Well, I'm not excited nor am I disappointed. I expected to be super pissed or super ecstatic about this announcement, and the fact that I am neither is a letdown in itself... what an AVERAGE thing to happen halfway through an AVERAGE wednesday with AVERAGE weather, and an AVERAGE workload. I hope the game tonight is not AVERAGE. I just don't think I could handle it.
Westy03
Someone giving 12 million to the basketball program is far from average
jimbofive
Indeed, I don't think I see myself throwing 10s of millions of dollars around anytime soon. Bigtime donation, hopefully he gets his money's worth.
Pistol
Chaifetz Arena, named after a distinguished alum- I'll take it. No generic, dime-a-dozen corporate name. This is a lot more respectable than the alternative, and doesn't it seem like all the big time programs in the country have arenas named after people and not companies? Way to go, Biondi. Keep the money coming.
Box and Won
Come on, Jimbo, a $12 million donation is a great thing!
