There have been rumors for the past two months that he was going closer to home in Oregon, but it was still a little odd that he decided to leave now. He would likely be fighting Julius Randle and James Young for playing time this season. I don't think SLU would be in the equation because he is interested in schools in the northwest and California.

If I'm not mistaken, SLU had a pretty difficult schedule last season dealing with Butler twice in the regular season, VCU, Xavier on the road and a few other "tough" games. Granted, most of these games were at home, but SLU handled it well last year and I think they will be just fine again.

Look I don't know about you all, but Andy Enfield (FGCU Head coach) has convinced me. I know everyone will be going after him, but why not?

Great write up. I was so happy to see so many Bills fan there. I honestly thought that I might be one of the only Bills fans there. It was such an awesome atmosphere at the end and the best part, the Bills fans were drowning out the GW fans from the last five minutes of the game. Otherwise the speculation will be endless.

One billiken is on staff, Danny Brown, as a graduate assistant. Hopefully he will become an assistant coach soon. Also, I think Femi John should become the next graduate assistant, he is still an important part of this team. We have a young core with Tanner Bronson as an assistant coach, Mike Lepore as the DBO, but there is still a long way to go. Crews, hopefully works with them and those four could become his core staff in a year or two. We will need a recruiting assistant coach, but Crews will probably look for one over the summer, if he is retained.

The names that I hear seen on this board include: Brett Reed, head coach at Lehigh Tim Fuller, assistant coach at Missouri There are others, but those are the two names that I have seen recently.

I don't know much about Richmond, expect they won the A-10 a few years back (2009 or 2010?), but what their appeal to the C7. Could be nothing, but interesting that SLU now has to compete with Richmond, who at least I consider, to be in the middle of the pack in the A-10 most years.

Butler is such a national brand now that it attracts every sports fan attention. The only game that received this much coverage was the Xavier game at Chaifetz last year and coverage only began 2 days before that game.
