Who disappears when the rotation gets cut down?

Oh, I didn't realize that. Wasn't asking anyone to draw a conclusion after 9/10 games. -

Does anyone else think Roby is soft? He seems to flop and flail around a lot. Just a small observation. -
Back to Back to Back bad recruiting years leads to this

I don't know much about Neufeld. Malik seems to be trending up and Jolly has flashes. I think most agree that Malik seems to have the most upside (maybe even more than Ash) but no one knows if this group will work out. I'm not bashing Crews (not yet anyway) but I'm certainly questioning his ability to recruit at SLU and the previous coaching jobs he has had. I think that's more than fair. -

This team can't be judge on how we are playing now. Yes, we suck right now. I'm confident as the year goes on we will improve. The problem is not Jim Crews coaching ability to me. It's his ability to recruit. He has coached and recruited for 30 years. The record speaks for itself. I'm not confident he can't get high quality 3 star and occasional 4 star kids in here to build the program. Why would anyone think he could? -
Just a bunch of over reactions here. Team sucks, Crews sucks, the team has regressed, blah blah blah. The team will works itself out. Anyone who didn't think this year was going to be rough was lying to themselves. Also, Tyler Cook is a beast. I think we all focus so much on Tatum when SLU probably has a more realistic opportunity to pick up a kid like Cook. Or one of the other many quality recruits in the area. I get the fascination with Tatum but there is a lot of other talent in and around town.

Who is going to coach the Billikens tonight?

He seemed to do well at Soldan. Won a state title and finished 3rd twice. -

who cares who the coach for SLU is tonight. The action is at Chaminade. Crews should land on top of the gym in a chopper just before game time. -
Then home against Rhode Island and two on the road to start conference play. That stretch coming off the 4 crap teams will be very telling. That starts with Vandy.
-
I will be. I was assuming the fight was a joke but if we can confirm it's real before game time maybe I'll switch plans.

Are we all meeting at 108 to watch the fight tomorrow?

Name one thing JM does well on the floor. In all seriousness I can't think of one. I guess that doesn't necessarily mean it doesn't exist but I would love for someone to provide just one.
-
Tanner isn't seeing the floor because he can't play D. Even against Rockhurst the kid was lost on the defensive end. He is a quality offensive player but in SLU's system it doesn't matter if you have never learned how to play defense. His intensity is not there. He won't play much until that changes.
-
It's trending this way but I don't see any reason JM should see the floor. Jolly and to an extent Gillman already look more competent. Crews understands this. You could argue JM gives you better D and a better presence inside but I'm not even sure that's true. He is such a terrible basketball player. Let these two Freshman play the vast majority and hopefully one of them steps up big time as a Sophmore.

Looks like Monk is pretty close behind. 6'3 with those hops. That's insane. Anyone going to watch Chaminade V CBC this coming Tuesday? Should be more interesting than South Dakota State.
