If you are serious about a double bye, you have to put together a team that can collectively make up for your best player's off night. And I won't entertain the injury excuse. Dayton is cooking without Mali Smith.

I don't care what you entertain, lol.  I was just talking about last night and not the roster situation as a whole.

Gibby 0-5 from 3 and 1-8 overall including a missed bunny, but the killer was the turnover on the press in the corner with about 10 minutes to go, we were only down by 4, they hit a 3 off that turnover and floodgates opened. A 5th year senior has to step up on the road against an ACC team if you are gonna have a chance.

I like Ford, I want him to be the guy but I understand he might not be.  This however is hard to blame him for.  Your best player has an off game on the road against a team with a pulse you will not win.  Ford didn't go 1-8 last night.

Yawn.  Again, somebody wake me up when you have a coach you like and the AD you want.  I'm sure emailing Trudy Busch Valentine (and your really big check) will make that happen. In the meantime I'll find a less depressing place to cheer on the Billikens, despite the vagaries of the NCAA transfer process and the ravages of injury..........

Trudy lives 2 doors down from my wife's aunt and uncle if you think it would be more effective!

What about Abou?  Far more likely to get a waiver.

Didn't talk to him but he also didn't really participate in the scrimmages.  He did go 1v1 with Brad and it didn't go too well for him.  He needs to get much stronger.

Not to change the topic but I thought SVB fared much better than Bruce in the scrimmages.  Bruce may have the more upside but he has a long way to go.  Curcic really stood out to me.  He practiced with fire and made a lot of shots.

I meant more along the lines of fans spending money on sporting events and taking their kids to those events.

City SC tickets are not cheap and there are only so many casual sports fans in the area.  Many families will be recovering financially after the soccer season as it relates to money spent on sports.

City ticket renewals for next year are happening now, same time as the Bills.  I debated for a bit but decided to keep my tickets for the time being.  I know some others that are not renewing.

The last time SLU was in the NCAAs they played at Ole Miss. That experience was WILD....what little I remember of it.

When I was in school we played at Arkansas, it was an amazing atmosphere.  Place was rocking on Friday night and the Diamond Hogs were dancing on our dugout the entire game.  Needless to say we got hammered.

11am ESPN+. I will die on the hill that college softball is the better spectator product compared to college baseball. Sorry if this offends.

Crazy talk.  I do enjoy watching college sotfball but high level college baseball is much more entertaining.
