Listener of the Streets (6/7)

  1. Maybe you're right. I just haven't seen that. I also thought it was a strange post for Torch to pounce on that particular post since it was clear he was posting something he saw somewhere else. I'm not message board savvy enough in most situations to figure out how to attached stuff, but if/when I do, I would hate to be called out for plagiarism when that's not what I was doing.
  2. That was my thought too. When Bess came here, he sat out a year, and then knew he was here for the rest of his time in college ball. Now, if we get a guy like Bess, he will be gone after one year of putting up some decent numbers.
  3. I just think that it was obvious that he was copying and pasting it. Plagiarism is when you hold something out as being your own creation even though it was created by someone else. That is not what he did. Also, I would think that someone who has been very wrongfully, and comically, accused of plagiarism on this board would be a little bit more sensitive to that word being thrown around and used improperly.
  4. I'm pretty sure he wasn't trying to say "I created this, everyone have a look."
  5. I'm confused. He didn't say he created the chart. People post stuff they see out there on this board all the time. Is it plagiarism every time someone reposts something?
  6. I’m at the Billiken golf classic. Rumor going around that we are about to sign a St. Louis kid out of the portal. Anybody have an idea who that would be?
  7. I bet Sooner fans want to slap him. Again and again.
  8. Seems like a perfect fit for Schertz’s system
  9. Love the idea of getting a four star high school kid that had chosen USC. Here is an excerpt from a MaxPreps article: Liam Campbell of Owyhee (Meridian) is the 2023-24 Idaho MaxPreps Player of the Year. The 6-foot-4 senior guard led the Storm to a 24-3 record and the program's second state championship in the past three seasons. Campbell averaged 16.8 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.7 assists per contest while shooting 49.1 percent from the field, 40.5 percent from three-point range and 85.7 percent from the free throw line. All three of Owyhee's losses came against out-of-state opponents.
  10. I think everything in the store will be specific to a player. Any profit that's made off of a players "line" will go to the player.
  11. We just need Pasta House to send a tweet of Nochad Omier sitting at a table eating a big bowl of pasta.
  12. Swope is going to look tiny out there. He is 5" smaller than any one else on the roster.
  13. For comparison purposes, Brooke Flowers is 6"5"
  14. Nick Patton, a 6'2" SG from Loyola Academy, visited today.
  15. Haven't heard anything. Also not speculating. Just saying that he is a kid that may be obtainable that would fit some needs. Also failed to mention that he averaged 14.4 ppg last season and MAC co-Defensive Player of the Year.
