Littlebill
Marquette went on to win in OT...but this was a pretty disastrous sequence at the end of regulation The fact that DePaul took them to OT is embarrassment enough.
JettFlight5
Cuse up early on Duke. Duke has the 5000th Plumlee playing for them.

Schasz
With No. 6 & 7 going down today we should only go up in the rankings on Monday with two wins this week.
almaman
if we win next three and lose at U Mass bet we'd stay in top 10. going to beanville 28-2, two polls from now we should be 8 maybe 7. u Mass game would be seen by most as kind of meaningless for SLU (hopefully our heroes won't). That will show us the respect we've earned this year.
almaman
the TOREROS give us a nice little nightcap on a great day 80 minutes into the next one by knocking off #25 Gonzaga.

MUDKAT
Check out Warren Nolan. He's got 6 A10 in right now with 1 (St Joes) at last 4 in and 1 (Dayton) at last 4 out. 5 seed for SLU predicted. 9 predicted for VCU. If his prediction holds up we could possibly have the most in of any conference. If Dayton somehow squeaks in with St Joe, we'd have 7 in. You don't wanna mess with the A10!!!! Edit: most of the projections have 6 in right now.
Clock_Tower
Wow. The number 6 team in the country scored only 44 points in their 14 point loss to unranked New Mexico!!

Deep 3
New Mexico State, different team. I realize that...my point was the state of New Mexico has a fair amount of Sasquatch-like centers playing college basketball right now.

slu72
Because SDS is not a major they'll fall the furthest. Expect out of the top 10. Same would have happened to us had we lost. Big question for us is how far does UL move up and, more important, how far UC drops. SDS has opened a spot in the top 10, just not sure who's gonna fill it. We won't drop, and there is a chance we move to 9.

We need to win out to get back into the top 25. Tall order, but it can be done. Even a 4-1 finish should get us a bye. The A10 tourney is going to be a dogfight. Really too bad we don't get return games from SJ and UMASS. Likely will get one of those games in the tourney. Funny thing. The A10 is much stronger this year with the departure of Butler and X. I love it!!!
