Came across this earlier.  Hopefully this puts an end to the kangaroo courts we have seen at SLU. https://www.thecollegefix.com/trumps-new-executive-orders-ban-guidance-practice-that-enabled-obamas-title-ix-kangaroo-courts/

Since Ford has came to SLU he has done a lot of things really well.  While I question his offense plan with the current talent, its hard to judge him really.  Last year he ran a pretty good offense with what he had (in spite of losing Bishop, Graves, and Henriquez).  We all complained about lack of depth and having to rely on Hines, and yet the offense was much better.   This year, who knows what could have been with Gordon, Santos, and Welmer going forward.    This isnt even taking into count all the injuries that have been going on.   Ford deserves credit and a chance, but the fan''s frustration with offense efficiency is warranted.   I'm remaining optimistic that the team is still working things out.  It shouldnt take this long, but the silly turnovers and miss communication with passing lanes "should" improve.   I still think SLU will come away with 22 wins this season.  While that may not be what some expected from this team, that certainly is better than what we have seen for quite some time.  I love this team"s "will to win".  This team is determined and while things are not going as planed, they are fighting for every win and appear to give max effort constantly.  Just remember what TI said a few days ago.  Hard to say that Ford isn't in someway partially responsible for this.    Also its great to see that following TI tweet, one of our great recruits for next year immediately retweeted saying this was exactly why he picked SLU.  Losses suck, especially when we had the chance to win in our hands 2x at the end.  S**t happens, move on and focus on next game.  #TEAMBLUE

Time to call out SLU on Twitter and threaten withholding donations.  This has gone on long enough.  #makeadecision #freethe3 #growapair

What I don't understand is the notion that the players are allowed to participate in all basketball/team/college activities, except for games.  They are under investigation....but isn't banning them from games punishment before being found guilty of doing something wrong?  Hypothetically if the results of the investigation yield no wrong doing, you just punished 2 players (graves wouldnt count since he has to sit anyway) for no reason.....or according to some because it would "look bad" if they were allowed to play and later found guilty of something.  I don't see how it would look bad.  The players are innocent until deemed otherwise by said investigation.  How does it look bad that the players were not punished until the end of the investigation?  So is sitting out just to keep a particular group happy?   If thats the case then screw Dr. P AND the rest of the administration.

This is what I have been struggling with. Very bad precedent if simply being accused of something immediately warrants punishment until your name is cleared. Isn’t this the exact opposite of innocent until proven guilty?

Sick of SLU caring about feelings...or potential outcry from other people.  DO WHAT YOUR DAMN DONORS WANT.  I graduated in 2009 and attend countless events on campus with my family, donate to SLU several times a year, purchase BB tickets, etc.  Im done with SLU until they get their act together.  Sorry if some don't agree, but if what I have been told is true (on S2) then the players shouldn't haven't sat out a single game.  I could care less about people's feelings.  Let the guys play. SLU catered to the BS clocktower accords, now they are sitting players for absurd accusations.  Lets not forget the atrocity in hiring crews and letting that train wreck proceed for 2 years too long.  Where to even begin with the marketing department; pretty sure undergrads in Cook could do a better job.  SLU needs an administrative overhaul.....but thats just my opinion.  Bottom line, SLU will not get another dollar of mine while stupidity continues.
