moytoy12 Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 No call-in? I was excited to hear Gary the mouth-breather call in. Quote

Thanks for the information. I hope Rammer is ok to participate tonight. Martin Kilcoyne did a good segment on the Bills last night on his 9:30 Sports show and he mentioned that he was supposed to have a long Billiken discussion with Rammer, but Rammer was too sick to call in so he replayed a long interview with JC that was recorded before the season began. brianstl Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 No call-in? I was excited to hear Gary the mouth-breather call in. I kinda like the no call format, but it does have a downside. The era of a coach getting any challenging questions during these shows is over. Quote
slufan13 Posted January 14, 2014 Author Posted January 14, 2014 Can't get sound online? Same here. SLU's website said you'd be able to listen online so not sure what the deal is Quote
AMDG Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 Same here. had to break out the old fashioned radio Quote
Yenlar Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 They always seem to turn the feed off at 7pm since they switch to the national espn feed. My guess is someone didn't get the memo. Quote
Quality Is Job 1 Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 Rammer just announced that they will take phone calls in the last segment. I didn't complete catch the numbers, but I think I heard, "969-0101." Quote
Quality Is Job 1 Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 Illinois side is 399-0101 (I think). Quote

brianstl Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 Our buddy Dan Dakich is on. Good segment. Quote
West Pine Jim Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 That was a great show, informative and funny with Dakich on. Nice to hear JC's views on how to gain playing time, how difficult it is to play consistently good defense, how the staff stays in touch with our new recruits, how we don't take the Bonnies lightly. If you missed it, I'm sure you can catch a replay on 101.1 website. Listen to it; you will enjoy and learn a few things (like how JB continues to get playing time.) Quote

West Pine Jim Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 Basically, Crews is very happy with his defense. Says JB is much better at playing D than he was 2 years ago. It's easy for us to be critical when Jake gets beat from time to time, but if the coach is happy, I'm happy. Quote
West Pine Jim Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 Can't find a replay of it Might be up to hear tomorrow. Quote
