Tonight marks the debut of the Billiken Basketball Radio Show on 101 ESPN. The show, which will run from 7-8 p.m., will feature SLU head coach Jim Crews. Billiken Hall of Famer Bob Ramsey serves as the host.

Listeners can hear all the talk on 101.1 on the FM dial or online at 101Sports.com. The show will also stream on mobile devices through 101 ESPN’s app.

Fans can tweet questions for Crews and/or Rammer to @SaintLouisMBB, with the chance they will be asked on air.

Thanks for the information. I hope Rammer is ok to participate tonight. Martin Kilcoyne did a good segment on the Bills last night on his 9:30 Sports show and he mentioned that he was supposed to have a long Billiken discussion with Rammer, but Rammer was too sick to call in so he replayed a long interview with JC that was recorded before the season began.

No call-in? I was excited to hear Gary the mouth-breather call in.

I kinda like the no call format, but it does have a downside. The era of a coach getting any challenging questions during these shows is over.

That was a great show, informative and funny with Dakich on. Nice to hear JC's views on how to gain playing time, how difficult it is to play consistently good defense, how the staff stays in touch with our new recruits, how we don't take the Bonnies lightly. If you missed it, I'm sure you can catch a replay on 101.1 website. Listen to it; you will enjoy and learn a few things (like how JB continues to get playing time.)
