White Pelican
I hope they have lights on them. Biondi requested this to save money Shoot, I guess no lights then?
jimbofive
I hope they have lights on them. wahahahahaha. i do wonder why more performance athletic shoes don't have the lights in the heel. the wheel would be cool, too. you don't want to deploy those during play, but as you're cruising up to the free throw line... sure, whip your wheels out and roll up in style. roll off the court during timeouts, player intros, etc. i'd sign for a pair of those. JMM28
The wheel makes it easier to slide over and take a charge. With these shoes, Cody takes 20% more charges last year. I figure if Adidas can bring back the zubaz look, Nike could buy LA Gear and bring back LA Lights.
billslasttermdropout
Those shoes with the Billiken bighead logo on the jersey with pulsing red LED's for eyes would be fat.

majerus mojo
any kid that doesnt pick us because we dont have a black uniform or a neon blue short with silver and black sparkle tops needs to go to a different school. wwrs (what would rickma say) if a kid said, "i am probably going to xyz university because they have neon uniforms." Totally understandable, but in the same sense any fans that get their panties in a bunch because Nike wants to pimp us out in a color other than the traditional white or blue... Well, same idea. I love it, the more Billiken gear the better.
OkieBilliken
Our throwbacks should include belts ala the Easy Ed era. That was a smashing good look.
UrbanGlance
I'm fine with an alternate under two conditions: 1. They don't mess with the regular home and road jerseys too much, like adding an unnecessary third color. 2. They aren't anything too regrettable, like the ones Adidas has put out for the Tournament the past two seasons. When people in the future see any of the footage of Louisville winning this year, they'll be distracted by the Zubaz-like camo pattern and tiny girl shirt sleeves on the uniforms. Those kids might love them now but their kids will mock them mercilessly for looking like clowns. Clean and classic never leads to regret. Agreed. My thoughts exactly. Apparently that basketball court is ridiculous and the Lakers practice there from time to time when they don't want to deal with the media. Precocious P
Did you see that pic of him with Paula Abdul? Christ, they look fabulous! He runs a tight ship, that Steven Jackson. Disapproved an expense report because of a $2 cup of coffee bought at an airport Dunkin Donuts before a business trip. That's how the rich stay rich my friends... slu72
Just saw on ESPN Cal's new uni's. A big mad looking hungry bear coming right at ya w/ California over it. I don't know how much fear a big winking smirking Billiken is going to put into the hearts of opponents. Maybe if we gave him an eye patch, a stubby cigar sticking out of the side of his mouth, and some stitches on his chin would help.
