HERE ARE THE ENTRIES I HAVE SO FAR: http://www.billikens.com/04-05predictions.htm

If you are missing from that list, please reply.

HERE IS THE ORIGINAL POST

Do people want to do contests this year again. Last year we had the pick-em contest for every game. Thicks was the main man on that, so I am going to leave it up to him for that one (he did the work, so it should be up to him if we even consider it again).

But, for the past few years we have done Record Prediction contests, which is pretty easy to run. I know there was a thread in the past few weeks with some predictions, but Kerry still had a chance to be President then so my attention wasn't exactly at it's fullest.

So, I at least propose people posting their Final Record predictions for the 04-05 Billikens. This includes all of Post-Season no matter how far we go. Reply to this thread with: # Wins- # Losses...nm No bodies need to be in this thread. I will gather all the information and keep it til the end of the season.

Just to let people know, there are 29 Regular Season games this season. Plus the C-USA Tournament, and then either NIT or NCAA if we qualify.

Submit your predictions!

Steve

and I debated that. It'll take a couple of wins against a Gonzaga, Louisville or another quality team. However, I wouldn't focus on the losses, but rather the quality wins and quality losses.

If CUSA is really down this year, you make a valid point. I really have no idea what CUSA will be like this year.

Actually, it is AJ's math that is the problem. He predicts a 19-10 regular season and a 1-1 CUSA tourney which would make them 20-11. With a solid season from C-USA this is a possible 9-10 seed. In fact I am going to predict this scenario now but cover myself with a 2-1 tourney.

I agree though 12 losses (11 regular season losses) is a near lock on the NIT.

You should have come up with 20-12, meaning 11 losses going into the NCAA Tournament. As for 3star's comment, whether the Bills can get an at-large bid with 11 losses will depend on where the 10-6 will get them in the C-USA race. If that's good for fifth or better, then they should be able to get an at-large bid

Feel free to change my prediction to 20-12. I guess I should use the Preview function more often... No excuse, but made a last minute change to my nonconference record and changed the win column, but forgot to change the loss column.
