On a side note UTEP to the Mountain West, giving them 8. No word on Texas State . My wish A-10 tries for Wichita State and College of Charleston... 14 or 16 does it really make a difference anymore. Missouri Valley losing Mo State ,to C-USA ... could see some movement there This realignment isn't going to end soon enough. I'd think twice about jumping conferences until the dust settles. Gonzaga is reportedly getting close to football level distribution of revenues. If you are a football school in the Pac12, I'd second guess that move. Football moves the money needle. On another issue, the SEC and Big 10 are meeting this week on a football scheduling alliance. The noose is drawing tighter. Once all this garbage settles down in football, the P4 focus will be turned to carving up the biggest piece of pie possible in basketball. They're estimating PAC-12 will be $12-15mil/year payout. for full members. If SLU joined just basketball and that was $5mil/year how much more is that what the A10 pays? I've read some estimates that are under $1mil/year for the A10. If that's true, yeah you gotta move. Plus there's some decent teams in the new PAC-12. It would be an adjustment, no doubt. The Zags had a sweet deal in the WCC with the top 2 seeds getting conference tournament byes until the semifinals. Plus they've been really successful and could schedule good non-conference teams. Now they're in a tougher conference but should get more revenue.

They have to give Gonzaga that money for Gonzaga to leave behind the mountain of tournament credits they have. They were receiving the majority of the money for those credits. HoosierPal
If it's on the internet, it must be true. Either the Pac 12 and Memphis are talking, or they aren't. The Pac XYZ still doesn't have a media deal nailed down for their future configuration.
BLIKNS
I know this doesn't excite, but Sacramento State has been building up quite an NIL chest... Looking to move to FBS and get a conference invite... Says they have $35 million already, wanting to get to $
