slu72
SLU ranked 8th. Nova #1, Zaga #2. Seton Hall at 6. I thought they lost a lot last year. Going to be a tougher game than I thought. Poll was on FB.
Old guy
Do you still believe in the validity of polls? We will steam roll Seton Hall.

slu72
All I know is it's good to finally get out of Papal Hell.
Old guy
If we are getting out of it, it must have been Purgatory not hell slu72. Forgot Theology 101?
slu72
By Papal edict you can be removed from Papal Hell, Old Guy. Obviously Pope Francis likes the Bills this year. For 3 years we were in hell. I think we ascended to Purgatory last year.
almaman
A little limbo involved also with S2.
Old guy
Very creative slu72, maybe in the interests of Mother Church and all of the goodness it spreads for needy people they should also reinstate the sale of indulgences. Of course this will be restricted only to those Pope Francis likes. The rebirth of Papal indulgence edicts, a free pass out of Hell regardless. If this is the idea, it is a very old idea, just ask Martin Luther (the German, XVI th century).
almaman
I Forgot about all the Plenary Indulgences I accrued in grade school. Who kept track of them the local church or the archdiocese? Maybe they're online now. Can't remember if they did gather interest.

Maybe they were the hush money back then. So much ridiculous dogma seemed so obvious when I dropped out of it in HS. Another goofy rule long since dropped that got to me was women having to wear a hat to church.
