I was watching the end of the MVC final SIUE v Creighton. A massive storm hit with 5 minutes left in the match with 50 mph wind gusts. Creighton looked good, but give a lot of credit to former Billiken great Kevin Kalish and his SIUE Cougars... Scrappy crew over in Edwardsville. They are right on the bubble for the NCAAs... It's important to rremember we are playing without our leading scorer and probably best player. Robbie is very good at holding the ball and moving it smartly to maintain possession. For those not able to see the game ... Bryce's goal was off a corner where he went almost parallel to the ground just off the near elbow of the 6 yard box to find the short corner of the goal. Adnon's was typical Adnon where he recieved the ball just before the midfield line, he turned and just outran and overpowered a couple of defenders and hit the far post from about 14 yards out. We just scored again on a goal where SLU held possession and worked the ball freeing Nick M down the right side who then made a hard low cross where Hildago hit it home from the just off the near post Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
