jbizzle09
note the 18 posts Also the 'heard it from someone' nature of the post. I will not be worried until I hear something from a credible source.
White Pelican
Yeah, I know there's only 18 posts but I think I've at least seen that screen name on the SLU forum before. A search only turns up today's post and one other unrelated post. Hope there's nothing to it of course.

He realized we will need to play zone against Memphis, and of course we all know zone is more of a defense for slow white guys that can't keep up with the fast black guys ... so to fit in better with the rest of the team he had the extra muscle removed from his leg. It's only a 36 hour recovery time, so he'll be good for the game

slufanskip
Usually we wait until at least their Jr year in case we recruit some "fast" guys and decide to go m2m. I mean with KC and BC leaving and our 2 new recuits being you know faster ... it's probably good to wait
JMM28
Saw Conk on crutches today. Hope he's ok for Friday. Gonna be tough if he's not.
WestCoastBilliken
What the FUDGE!?? PS. If what JMM28 said is true then the lady's son who said he saw "KM" on crutches probably can't tell the difference between a big white guy and a small black guy. billikenfan05
I wouldn't be too worried. I have seen athletes on crutches or in walking boots after games as a preventative measure. I imagine it allows for quicker recover. I would think the week of an NCAA game they are extra protective.

I'm sure its just to keep pressure and weight off their ankles.
Bishop
Did you see them all on Sunday? Everyone was moving around and jumping around in excitement without crutches. Just adds to the idea that its simply to help quicken some recovery and nothing we should worry about it all. Deep breaths.
Billsrmajic
Anybody shed any light on this (hopefully wrong) rumor? http://interact.stltoday.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=870592 What are you guys worried about? We won 12 games without him last year. We'll just slip Kyle back into the starting lineup and we'll be fine.

slufan13
They both looked perfectly fine on Channel 5 News today. Showed the team walking to the bus. No crutches in sight.
For-DaLove
Our guys are just fine. If KM was hurt someone on this board would have posted about it already.

JeffinMH
No, but someone twittered me after seeing CE using one of those motorized wheelchairs at Wal-Mart. Yea, but he isn't hurt. He just like to ride on them. hahaha!
ucan2
Anyone else see DE in a wheelchair today? The athletic department is issuing wheelchairs to the players now instead of scooters.
JMM28
The athletic department is issuing wheelchairs to the players now instead of scooters. I don't know why we can't buy official Billiken wheelchairs in the team store. Minor league SLU, minor league.

lawyerbilliken07
I just heard from what I would consider a decently reliable source that the KM injury is legit (high ankle sprain). Did anyone who's in Columbus see him at the open practice yesterday? The tweets said everyone is healthy and that KM was working on this threes. Was he moving around much? I hope so ... rambo
I can confirm Kwamain sprained his ankle at Monday's practice. Was carried off the court and placed in a walking boot with crutches. The Billikens always expected he would play. Will be interesting to see if the ankle limits him at all
