  1. Obviously there is no way to measure this as Rick is no longer here. However, I think the oh-fense would run more efficiently with Rick. Just look at kenpom.com offense efficiency since Rick left. It is easy to see the oh-fense has been less efficient. Crews has done an unbelievable job but I am worried what will happen when the players Rick had a large influence on leave the program.
  2. You can at least post a link. http://newyork.cbslocal.com/audio-on-demand/mike-francesa-1/#
  3. Does anyone know where you can find it online? Saw clips of Conklin and Majerus and wanted to watch the full thing. Majerus is a very odd person, but maybe more than any other college coach he loves his players. He seemed really heartbroken about not getting to coach Conklin and Cassity again.
  4. I can confirm Kwamain sprained his ankle at Monday's practice. Was carried off the court and placed in a walking boot with crutches. The Billikens always expected he would play. Will be interesting to see if the ankle limits him at all
  5. On wikipedia it says his birthay was February 4, 1947. Don't know when he died, but it could have been on his birthday.
  6. Here is the link. Really sickening if true. http://www.ksdk.com/video/default.aspx?aid=137825&storyid=221795#/News/Willis+Reed+Jr.+and+his+father+talk+to+NewsChannel+5/48541678001/48355648001/636712578001
  7. After watching the 17 minute interview posted on ksdk with Willie and his dad this thing is an absolute joke. SLU should be embarrassed. So he gets charged with sexual assault in the first "trial" by the school and then the school seeing Willie had no sexual conduct the school still suspends him. What a joke. And they were "tried" together. This is a complete joke.
  8. What an epic conclusion to the game. Cotton comes in on 1 day of rest to face a 400 hitter and strikes him out.
  9. This guy is pitching like he is Heath Bell.
  10. Blowing this chances is not a good sign. Hopefully we keep pitching well.
  11. If SLU wants to win they are going to need to score a lot of runs. They are really thin at pitching.
  12. Agree great work. I would also like to add don't believe what you read in the post. That would be unfair to the players.
  13. Can you seriously not figure out the names from reading this thread?
  14. I guess it could be worse. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncaa/news/story?id=5158985
  15. Rick was in town Saturday. And I don't think he is planning on attending the golf event.
  16. Regardless of whether the players are charged, and yes I know basketball players are involved, the fact they put themselves in this position is extremely disappointing.
  17. That is interesting news. I wonder why. Will be interesting to see who they get to replace him.
  18. Considering the expansion is all about money and it would cost them to move the leases they already have in place with the 8 first round hosts, the NCAA will have no incentive to expand the field.
  19. You would only get playing time if you could pitch. Hitting is not this teams issue. Danny Brock is second in the nation in rbis. That is pretty impressive.
  20. I don't see how the first round would be relevant unless your team was playing in the games.
  21. That still presents a logistical issue as the first round games will be played on Thursday and Friday. This would cause the second and third rounds games to be moved Saturday thru Tuesday. So the NCAA would have to change when it wanted the rights to every building from Thursday, Friday to Monday, Tuesday. That is probably not possible.
  22. This may come as a shock to you, but the facilities the NCAA uses also host other events. So it is possible, if not likely, other events have already been booked where the NCAA would be trying to play the games in 2011.
  23. I don't see the 96 team field for 2010-2011 as they don't have the facilities reserved. Maybe in a couple of years.
